    Yes, my case was updated on the Department of State online account. Actually, I contacted the Senator of my state for an inquiry on my behalf and the next day the problem was solved. Make sure to explain to the Senator that he should make the inquiry at the Department of State and not USCIS because USCIS already sent your application to the DOS. Good luck to you.
