Send the consulate an email asking for interview status?

COVID plays a big role now. I've been waiting for the interview for three months. Because there are several COVID lockdowns in place. Seems that all timelines are out the window now.

For the US, you are required to have interview letter and the embassy gives a list of approved medical facilities

We filed at the local embassy in Vietnam a few weeks after marriage. No ceremony due to lockdown. The embassy did not seem to have an issue with it.

Once you get a case number and instruction package, the local embassy give a list of approved hospitals for the exam. Vaccines are also required.

Recommend getting the tax transcripts online. I did that and worked well in getting what I wanted. The site was user friendly

I originally had an interview scheduled for 23rd July which got cancelled due to Dir-16. I requested an expedited interview which was accepted and I had my interview (CR-1) on 22 of September. I hope that helps

Has any one gotten a visa interview at the Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam Consulate since July 2021? Can not understand why after the lockdown they are still not granting interviews?
