  1. My case was transferred to NBC back in Jan, 21. It's been a while since the last case update, and now I got "case ready to be scheduled for interview." Idk..
  2. 5 times! Insane. I would think by waiving some interviews, the whole process would be more efficient.. oh, well..
  3. I'm not sure. But here is the article from USCIS https://www.dhs.gov/publication/uscis-processing-concurrently-pending-forms-n-400-and-forms-i-751
  4. Ah, thanks!! I'm not concerned if I have to do another in-person interview with my husband, but I just hope this process can be done sooner. I started K1 back in 2016, 5 years later, I'm still dealing with immigration stuff. Ugh...
  5. My case is in NBC now, meaning a bigger chance I'll be interviewed even though my case starts in WAC? I'm confused...
  6. WAC, didn't change. But case was transferred to NSC back in January 2021
  7. Thanks for the reply.. I'm pretty confident that there is no red flag in my docs. I added our joint tax return/ bank statements/ health insurance/ lease contract; pictures of two of us on different vacations and family pictures with my in-laws.. Hoping for an interview wavier, and get this process done for the next 10 years...( I'm not planning to get a citizenship now)
  8. I came to the States in August 2017 on a K1 visa, got my 2-year GC November 2018. I did my interview with my husband for AoS. We filed I-751 jointly August 2020. Yesterday (9/16/2021) I got my case update about USCIS ready to schedule my interview. I had thought that if you had interview for AoS, your RoC interview will be waived.. On top of that, I heard it could take a LONG time for them to actually get you an interview date.. (We live in LA) Do I have to worry about anything based on the fact that they are asking us to do a second interview? I was really hoping that I could get a interview wavier.. Any thoughts are welcomed 🙏 My case status: 1. August 24th, 2020, case received 2. January 12th, 2021, case transferred to another USCIS office 3. January 21st, 2021, fingerprints taken (old fingerprints from AoS application) 4. September 16th, 2021, case ready to be scheduled for an interview
