I'm an American female married to a British man and preparing his petition. I have indefinite residency in the UK, but we missed the window to file through DCF. I've returned to the US to get a job and get a home set up. We'll be married for 2 years in October so I'm waiting until after to send the petition.
Does going through the IR-1 route take less time than the CR-1? Or is it running about the same?
