ok, you were right, I had no problem with it. thanks!

thank you very much for the good infos.
I am going to the US with K3 Visa. my question is, how much money is allowed to take with me?Thank you,,,,
Per family (household), no more than $USD 10,000 in any form of monetary instruments. Yen, Euro, Sterling... Remember also, that it is the aggregate of $USD 10,000. So, if you have $USD 9,000 worth of currency, and your wife has $USD 2,000, you need to declare it on the customs form they give you on the plane before landing. If not, they may seize it, and trust me... it's a pain to get it back. I know... I just had to fight with Customs to try and get back my mom's $30,000 from Detroit. It was a big pain. So, I've learned the lesson.
The funniest part is, if she just declared it, they would have let her go. Just asking her questions what it was to be used for (medical bills). Instead, I had to fight for 2 months to get it back. Even then, it wasn't the whole amount.
There's no limit but you must declare amounts over
$10,000.
Yep, no limit to either take out or bring in $, but of course all amounts >= 10K must be declared. See http://www.cbp.gov/xp/cgov/travel/vacation/kbyg/money.xml for more. For safety reasons and for peace of mind, I would suggest just wiring the money to an account in the US worth the ~$50 fees.

Thank you for your answer...
no, I won't have 10,000 $ with me. it is max 4000 or 5000 with me. I can understand from your text, that I have no problem with
it, or not?

I could not understand anything with the forms I-134 and I-864, because we are trying to find a cosponsor for me.
In Form 1-134, there is no field for a cosponsor, but in the I-864, there is a field, which a cosponsor can fill out.
Dose anybody have the same problem with the cosponsor form (for I-134)?

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!
Yippee, I got my package 3 from the Embassy. Finally,

Thank you, Divine Mercy
o.k. I filled my timeline. (but honestly, I can't remember the exact dates because my wife always get the letters from CIS.)
Dose the Embassy need both of the Affidativ of Support in the Interview, or do we need to have the 864 when I am in the US?
I have not read / found anything about that. I like to know how is the minimum limit for the low incomes earners !?
An important question, what can I do because of my work permit when I am with K3 in the US 1) should I apply for a
Employment Authorization (I-765, it will take 3 month) or will I get my Green Card within the 3 months?

hi socalwaiter,
you mean I will get these forms from American Embassy?
The NVC are sending my I-129F to the Embassy. And which form of the Affidavit of Support is required for the I-129F?
Or need I have both of them (I-864 and I-134) for the Embassy? (My I-130 is approved too, but they are sending only I-129F)
I am a little confused why they will send these forms to me?Actually my wife should fill out this form for me.
my another question is: what should I do, if her salary is very low for supporting me because we have two kids too.?
Or is it enough that she fills out these forms and send them to me?
thank you...
Hi friends,my wife received our NVC-number yesterday, but In this mail, there is no instruction for the affidavit of
support. I have heard that we got it from NVC...!!!
Can you help me with this situation? I think I will be informed by the American Embassy soon. I am trying to
gather all papers before getting the package 3 from Embassy....
It would be nice when one could help with it.
Thank you and have a nice weekend

Hey amoro,
I didn't get the instruction for the affidavit of support either as part of the nvc letter. My wife did get all the forms when she received her packet 3 and 4. Not to worry, the form is I-864 which needs to be accompanied with I-134. You can download these forms from the www.uscis.gov website and send in the filled version to your spouse. Hope this helps.

I have two question:
if I get my package 3 from Embassy here, should I show the affidavit of support? how can my wife do that for me?
I know only she should fill a form "I-134 or I-864" out. Where should she go after filling that? She must only fill it out and
send it to me?
Can you give more information about that? It is very important for us to know that...
My second question is, can I get my police certificate before I get my package 3 from the Embassy?
Thank you!

Thank you C&J,
your answer was very clear...
did Embassy call you or write you when your case was in the embassy? Could you check your case in the NVC online with your (nvc)case number?
I need to know when my case will go into the NVC in and when will come from the NVC out?
I am very happy that I don't need to check my case in the USCIS. It was very bad, hard time.

Hello G&A,
A question, did you pay anything for your I-129F in NVC? why do some people pay 1010 $?

Hello edp333,
thank you for you answer!
Don't we need to send something to NVC? NVC dose not want something, or the Embassy will inform us?
(Did you get anything from NVC?)
thanks

129F and 130 are approved on Jan. 31 and today, we got the approval letter in our mail box.
But there is no instruction on it how our cases will go on....
my questions are:
will we get anything from NVC? Is there any truck number(case number) for the NVC?
my wife think the Embassy will inform me about the next step, but I don't think so!!!
I would like to know the next steps of our journey?
thank you!

Hello Divine Mercy,
I read your table and the process of your cases....
can you tell me please what will happen after I-130 and I-129F is approved.??
what will they want in their letter from us? Can we choose which of our cases continue its process in the NVC?
Or I will come to the US first through I-129F? I am very confused after I read the table of your process.
I would be thankful if you could help me with it !
Thank you!

Can you tell me what is the next step? which of my cases will go on?

I would like to prepare everything before I get my letter from USCIS...

Hi YGandMAT,
we did that before! when my wife call them each time and they say it is not possible to access to our cases. I don't know why?
It is simply going a wrong system there. I am very frustrated and disappointed.... Now, we have been waiting for 8 months on our approval.
They wanted some additional evidence of us and we sent it. I think there is nothing to delay our cases ...

in K-3 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures

Hi,
I am in the US with K3 now. And the problem is we don"t really know what to do. Actually, we called USCIS 3 times and we heard 3 different stories from them.
We applied for SSN, but they told us that we need first a job permit and then we can apply for the SSN.
I want to write the form with we filled us. and please tell us if it is wrong:
G-325a x 4
I-864
I-485
I-765
my questions are:
1) I read in the instructions that I need the form i-693 for medical examinations. and I did the medical examinations for my k3-Visa and I show the US-Embassy. But I have no medical check form or anything else to attach with files now!
what should I do?
2) Should I send the I-765 for the job permit seprate to the USCIS?
3) what is actually the correct address for sending my files for AOS and EAD? I could not find any correct infos about that!
PLEASE help us when you did this process before. thank you very very much for your help.
