Our Story
I met my Nicholas online in November of 2005 in a video game called "City of Heroes" yeah, I know..we are geeks! He is from New Jersey.
We talked on and off casually for about 8 months. In July of 2006, I took a trip with my girlfriend to NYC. I asked Nick if he would be willing to meet but he wasn't ready at that point. He was still involved with someone. There were sparks between us and we both knew it but the timing just wasn't right.
From the day I got home in July we talked non-stop. We spent late nights talking and just getting to know each other better. I fell for him and he for I.
We decided to meet finally in person in September 2006. It was amazing.
We have been going back and forth since then. I've met his family, he has met mine and we are very much in love.
Nick proposed to me on Christmas Eve.
I moved to NJ on July 19th, 2008!
Currently, Nick and I are in New Jersey and living in our first home! :) I have been approved for ROC and have my 10 year green card. Time to plan a vacation. Life is good :)
We're doing good, just enjoying our time together not doing much. Filed AoS recently so I've been on the boards a little more lately, just not nearly as much as before! Hope you are both happy & well as I'm sure you are .
