  1. I initially received a conditional green card (CR1) upon entering the U.S., but this was issued in error. Although my immigration interview took place before our two-year marriage anniversary, I entered the U.S. after we had been married for more than two years. The error likely occurred because the green card was processed based on the interview date rather than my actual date of entry. To correct this, I submitted Form I-90, and shortly afterward, I received a new 10-year green card with the proper IR1 classification. However, I’ve now received a letter "Reminder to File Form I-751" stating: "We approved your conditional permanent resident status on 10/XX/2023. You must submit Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence." Has anyone else experienced something similar? Do you have any recommendations on how to resolve this or notify USCIS that the I-751 is not applicable to my situation? My concern is these are likely automated systems and if they don't receive the removal of condition, it will automatically kick to next steps which happens when someone doesn't remove conditions on a conditional visa.
  2. @ElGrandeDoodel Did you mail your original greencard as well? Or should we wait till instructed? The directions are not super clear if we mail the greencard with wrong visa category back during the i90 filing.
  3. Did you receive your Greencard? Was the biometrics just some misssing data?
  4. Snowwhite. What’s update? Receive Greencard?
  5. No documents were requested from us. Just asked purpose of visit (see my family she said). and the most important item is to have a return ticket, so just tell them date your returning when they ask and your ticket is booked for that date. I would carry though documents showing proof of ties to Canada, such as lease, banks, job letter, paystubs. It's typically very brief. There have been dozens of people that have gone to US on visitor visa with i-130 pending, there is a big thread on this.
  6. Yes, she did. They did ask where in process, etc.. etc. No issues. She actually traveled twice while i-130 pending.
  7. I also have a question for those registering their appointment, but that previously had a US visa (Say Visitor Visa). Do you just use your exisiting login and select new group? Anyone can confirm? thank you so much.
  8. I'm trying to register my appointment on the visa site. What's the DS-260 number? What does it start with? thank you all
  9. Can anyone confirm it's the AA number? Just checking ? Thanks.
  10. Anyone got DQ letter for August month?
  11. Does anyone have actual experience of a beneficiary visiting USA while i-130 pending? My wife is living in Canada as a Canadian PR and is an Indian Citizen. She already has a valid visitor visa, but has never traveled to USA in the past.
