What is the point of filing I-130 twice (me and my mother after becoming USC) for my brother. Is it to increase chances? Will my mother's I-130 have a chance to be processed faster than my I-130?

Assuming my brother marries before 5 years from now which is the minimum time my mother needs to be eligible for citizenship. What would be my best option?

Hello, I am a US Citizen and my mother just received her green card through AOS. I have a 27 years old unmarried brother (planning to get married in the next few years) who lives back home. What would be the quickest, most efficient option to get him a green card? Should I file the I–130 myself (US Citizen) or it’s better to do it through my mother (PR)? You can Apply any time and yes you can do it yourself and save attorney money. The process is fairly straightforward.
