Got my passport although the card hasn't arrived which i had asked for and the naturalization certificate is missing too. I guess they will show up eventually ?! BUT the place of birth is wrong , it says I was born in a state here ..lol How can I correct this?

Had my interview last week and passed, the update I go says the officers decision is sent for "quality review" and it will take 30 days to schedule a ceremony. what is the "quality review" all about?

On a related topic, I am getting ready to purchase a house. Is the bank going to want to see some proof if they are going to give me a loan? Like you guys say, my status is still valid but I do not have anything to show as proof?

A 10-year expiration date and should not be reverified.

A two-year expiration date and should not be reverified if the card unexpired when the employee completes their Form I-9.

You guys are correct to point out that I do not have to show them GC , all i need to show is Dl and SSN . Thank you so much for clearing this out. The collective wisdom at this forum is beyond words!

Ok, I am going to show the n-400 receipt and see what they say. I am not certain how many in HR understand this concept that the PR status is still valid , of they don't then the burden of proof is on me to convince. Thanks for the reply!

I have applied for naturalization but my PR card expires in a month. Will a get a temporary work permit while i wait and if yes, how soon after the N-400 being filed?

Filed N400 yesterday (8/17) in Kentucky  After filing on documents there was a receipt and reuse of biometrics estimated 9 months processing
