we didn't hear anything from our AOS yet. its driving me crazy to see other people getting their GC and NOTHING here. *sigh* the processing times of the local office here in tucson say that they are currenty working on AOS from AUGUST 2007. guess it will take a while longer......
Well I´m kinda still waiting for AP and EAD...therefore I can only dream about AOS
-
So STP finally has her chair to sit on
-
USCIS can still do nothing for us...looks like we will have to wait till the middle of July or something. That´s when they should publish new processing times on their website. Only then they can do something but I´m not even sure what
-
She is shopping for the bottle so they can relax
-
Well they reunited a week or two ago and flew together
-
I don´t post late at night
-
But who says belly dancing is a punishment? It´s fun
-
Yup....and that´s just the beginning
They just can´t have the same rules in the whole country cuz that would be too easy. They like to make it as confusing as possible in order to get more illegal immigrants here.

Czech pastry...but could be Czech-American thing. Very delicious no matter where it comes from
W00t! We never throw a koláč at each other
We eat it

Midnight is a good time to eat - especially when baby is hungry!! Do you have a big bump yet or are you still teeny?
I think I have a bump but people say I don´t
-
Hehe
I woke up cuz I figured midnight was a good time to eat
And beer for breakfast is healthy it gives you fluids and stuff so it´s ok if you blame it on me
-
I reply to this all fast
Have a safe trip

They sell Ritter Sport and stuff like that here
Yum yum
It´s actually pretty easy to get German stuff in USA. Much more complicated with CZ stuff
Usually I just find Czech beers but I can´t drink those now

This time tomorrow
Aly will be in the air flying my direction

Well we received AP today in the mail which is funny because our case could not be found on the website. We are thankful for the Ap document given that we recently sent for it due to home sickness. Still no luck with the AOS though. We are no longer depending on the website for an accurate response. Good luck to everyone and I hope we all start seeing some AOS approvals pretty soon.
You applied for your AP in May and already got it? Well congratulations
I´m going to faint now

Awww you guys. So many sad news or stories. I hope you all feel better soon
I don´t think I have any useful advice. I think everyone takes the move differently. I was wondering does it make people feel better when they live in USA and try to look for the familiar stuff (either food they have always liked or some people from their home country) or does it make them even more homesick in the end? I don´t know and I can´t answer that question.
I am glad when I find something familiar but on the other hand I am also glad when I need something and find a good enough substitute. I enjoy new things as much as I enjoy the old ones. And when I go back to Europe (if they ever give me my AP), I can always get whatever I have been missing. The other day I was at the Czech Embassy and it was kinda nice to finally hear someone speaking Czech. But I like speaking English too. Especially when people understand me
They tell me I have a cute accent
And ask where it´s from. And I say what do you mean? It´s California accent

i am so homesick, its not even funny. today is the first day i really regret moving here. its scary to admit it, and i would never have the guts to tell eric, but i really do regret it.

I can only be drunk in my imagination...does that count?

Oakwood works out at about $2600 per month, so, for that money, we would be better off just staying in a hotel for a week or two, and finding somewhere longer term. Sigh.

My future mother-in-law seems bent on interfering (with the best intentions) with my plans for a quiet and simple wedding ceremony... I have the horrible feeling that this could all spiral out of control if I'm not very careful *sighs* She just can't seem to get her head around the idea that I don't want a lot of fuss.
That has recently happened to lots of our VJ friends here. They were all freaking out about it and then after it was over they said it their wedding day was a lot of fun
So try not to stress about it too much

Well, I for one am freaking EXHAUSTED. We set out in about 9 hours. Tonight we went for a long walk and talked and talked about how much we are going to miss it here and all the friends we've made. New Haven is and always will be home for me, but now it's become something of a hometown for Bruce too.
I'll miss you, my beautiful Elm City.
Why are you moving to L.A. anyway?
I've got moving fatigue. I'm sick of worrying about it. I just want to go and do it.Are you taking Aly´s job now?

Like the kolache toss? :-p
What´s that?
GGGRRRRrrrrr!!!! Archstone is not what I thought at all.I´ll go spit at them

Ok

Here's why we have $4 a gallon gas

They should have let EV1s on the market instead of pretending something and then killing them all.
