  1. we didn't hear anything from our AOS yet. its driving me crazy to see other people getting their GC and NOTHING here. *sigh* the processing times of the local office here in tucson say that they are currenty working on AOS from AUGUST 2007. guess it will take a while longer......

Well I´m kinda still waiting for AP and EAD...therefore I can only dream about AOS :P

  2. Well we received AP today in the mail which is funny because our case could not be found on the website. We are thankful for the Ap document given that we recently sent for it due to home sickness. Still no luck with the AOS though. We are no longer depending on the website for an accurate response. Good luck to everyone and I hope we all start seeing some AOS approvals pretty soon.

You applied for your AP in May and already got it? Well congratulations :D I´m going to faint now

  3. Awww you guys. So many sad news or stories. I hope you all feel better soon (F) I don´t think I have any useful advice. I think everyone takes the move differently. I was wondering does it make people feel better when they live in USA and try to look for the familiar stuff (either food they have always liked or some people from their home country) or does it make them even more homesick in the end? I don´t know and I can´t answer that question.

I am glad when I find something familiar but on the other hand I am also glad when I need something and find a good enough substitute. I enjoy new things as much as I enjoy the old ones. And when I go back to Europe (if they ever give me my AP), I can always get whatever I have been missing. The other day I was at the Czech Embassy and it was kinda nice to finally hear someone speaking Czech. But I like speaking English too. Especially when people understand me  They tell me I have a cute accent :P And ask where it´s from. And I say what do you mean? It´s California accent :D:lol:

  4. My future mother-in-law seems bent on interfering (with the best intentions) with my plans for a quiet and simple wedding ceremony... I have the horrible feeling that this could all spiral out of control if I'm not very careful *sighs* She just can't seem to get her head around the idea that I don't want a lot of fuss.

That has recently happened to lots of our VJ friends here. They were all freaking out about it and then after it was over they said it their wedding day was a lot of fun :) So try not to stress about it too much :)

  5. Well, I for one am freaking EXHAUSTED. We set out in about 9 hours. Tonight we went for a long walk and talked and talked about how much we are going to miss it here and all the friends we've made. New Haven is and always will be home for me, but now it's become something of a hometown for Bruce too.

I'll miss you, my beautiful Elm City. :(

    (F) Why are you moving to L.A. anyway?

I've got moving fatigue. I'm sick of worrying about it. I just want to go and do it.

Are you taking Aly´s job now? :D
