  1. My fiancé has had the first MMR vaccine recently, but we would like to book his medical appointment before the second MMR vaccination which we understand is possible, as just one dose in a series is required to pass the medical. As the second dose won't be recorded on his DS-3025, would the proof of the second dose on his Patient Access medical record be sufficient for AOS? Or would US immigration require him to get a repeat dose in the US?
  2. Hello fellow K1 friends! I just wanted to write this post in case it will help someone along their journey. I attempted to contact several institutions with regards to the status of my case after I received the NOA2 approval (Sept 19th). 1. NVCResearch email: reached out Nov. 23rd – No reply as of Nov. 30th 2. USCIS: I called on Nov. 28th – I requested a tier 2 officer and a request was sent out that day, I was told it would take 20 – 30 days for someone to call back. During that phone call I asked the agent if USCIS has sent out my application and I was told my application has NOT been sent. 3. Ask NVC inquiry form: reached out Nov. 23rd – received reply on Nov. 29th stating: “they recently received the visa petition” 4. I reached out to 2 Senators and my House of Representative on Nov 27th: - One senator replied and is currently reaching out to USCIS - My House of Representative replied and told his office told me they will reach out to NVC and this will take 20 to 30 days for NVC to reply. BUT I received an email from my HoR today (Nov 30th) and was told NVC has received my visa application on Oct 31st. So, my advice would be to please attempt to reach out to your congress members!
  3. Thank you for the advice, we have done so already.
  4. Hi Chancy Thank you for replying. I spent the past 14 months trying to forget about the application, so when we were discussing the next steps, the police certificate, I had misremembered and thought part 3 of the I-129f was for him. Now that I’ve reviewed our I-129f application again, I had filled out part 3 knowing that the questions were pertaining to me. I had panic posted! I appreciate the prompt response.
  5. Hello! My fiancé (UK) and I (US) caught a mistake on our approved I-129f form. When we were filling out the form I misinterpreted his answer for question Part 3, 4a. Have you ever been arrested? He had told me he received a caution in 2000, when he was 18, for drunk and disorderly conduct, I thought that meant he received a warning and was released. So I marked "No" to the question when I should have said "yes" he has been arrested. We received our NOA2 approval in September (we are waiting to hear from NVC currently) and I am not sure who to contact now to rectify the error. I couldn’t find anything on the forum about this situation; can anyone suggest a best course of action?
