we filed our I-130 the first week of this month to the Texas SC and I called them yesterday about it, they said right now due to people trying to beat the price increase back in July it will be atleast 3 months before they get to the ones filed in September. I guess it will be like this with all the service centers.

You called the Texas SC?? How did you find a number for them? I would love to call the CSC, but can't find any number for them, just the main USCIS toll-free number. If there is a CSC number out there, some one please post it.

Can anyone provide insight into what will happen with my visa application (I-130) since I sent it in with only the front of my birth cert copied, and my passport I only sent the first page and the page containing my Brazil visa (where my wife is from)? I started the visa process on my own, with no assistance, and just this week found VJ. It's been very helpful, but unfortunately for me much of the guidance comes a little too late.

Is USCIS so picky that they will send my application back to me with a RFE over that minor detail?
