I checked the website and after putting in our MNL case number I finally saw something different than usual. Before it would say NO RECORD, but on November 24, 2007 (me and my fiance's 22 monthsary) we got our medical and interview dates.

Medical at Saint Luke's: December 27, 2007 (just two days after Christmas)

Interview in the US Embassy in Manila: January 9, 2008

we almost have the same date, my medical is on the 27th of dec too. but my interview date is on Jan 04.

what packet did u received? i got packet 4 with all the doc. if u got the same, pls. help me out with some unsure things if its ok.?

I have a question guys, who else here got their packet 4 from the USEM Manila? im just kind of confused or maybe bec. im not expecting this things can moved this fast as i expected. this is absolutely awesome and overwhelming. so now i have all the documents to be completed right (DS-156 etcs.) and the documents i need my on my own. When i got this all completed what should i do next? i mean do i have to go somewhere for this application? or to the embassy to pay for or to file for something else? or after i got all our documents ready all i need to do is wait for the medical and interview date? hahaha for sure i am being silly and funny. im just confused i thought what ive learned before all of this is what im goin to get but GOD is really GOOD...its morethan i expected..so now im Overwhelmingly Shocked and Confused where to start..pls. enlighten me. Thanks for the help of VJ and my fellow Vj members. this is really a big help for all of us.

wow...im glad to be here posting that we have dates for medical and interview just yesterday when packet 4 from USEM arrived. Our are dated Dec 27, 2007 for medical and Jan 04, 2008 for the interview.YAY! We are almost there...hopefully we can live our new year with new life with our love one.dang!!!!!

then it would be great if pinays near SF or around the area can get together and have a VJ pinay group. my fiancee also has a lot of filipino friends because he's half filipino but of course as for me nobody knows me there yet, and i do think that pinays here in vjs doesnt need to go to that get to know process, because i believe we all feel each others as girls in nature...or if not all atleast those who are first timers like me. Im not afraid to be alone there because im really just a home buddy or must i say loner kind of girl..but its really goin to be a big changes in our environment and culture so i guess its really nice to have your own set of peers who have been through the same stages like this one.

guys pls. be nice and post some details or total amount in peso of how much the whole process of k1 visa here in philippines, from packet 1 up to the embassy interview.. it would be a big help for us who are still here waiting for the 1st packet and start over the whole visa process.

I am just thinking what if we pinays in this Vjs Forum try to build a community in CA. well as much as id like to include all the states i dont think its easy. but if they can get together on their same area then it will be great. who knows ONE day we can all have a Grand Eye ball there when we are all free. so for now let me extend this idea for all the pinays who will be in California after getting their VISA. If many of us will like this idea then lets make it! altogether.. Ive read some stories here in VJ about how hard it will be like for the first 6 mos. of adjustment living in US. so i come up with this lil help for us to get through on what they called "HOMESICK" stage. this community should help us keeping in touch with fellow pinays, not just in internet but we can have a regular get together whether with our husbands or family, it doesnt matter..but what matter is that we can go out with fellow pinays whenever we are feeling sad missing our families and friends in here! of course there are few things that only us girls can understand by ourselves no matter how we wanted our husband to feel what we are goin through..i think it would be fun and we can established a good relationships in every ways of life..we can share stories, bond, hangout, or have a big day with our love ones even just once in a week..it would be so nice and fun! all we need to do now, well if any of you are just interested and willing to build friendship, lets start by exchanging communication details. or i can make us a site where we can all register and talk in a forum like this..then continue loggin in till our community in cali gets bigger. wow that would be awesome! but we are also not qualified cuz weve met each other here in phil. in person not online. but funny i am, there are times im wondering what i ill send a letter to wish ko lang and ask for FEB. episode or vday.my NOA2 will get expired by FEB and im worrying that by this month im still here alone in vday again..pls. dont hesitate to contact me if u need to capture real life lovestory or wish that came true for vday special episode,im willing to be on national tv..with all the shamed etc. i could take it all if by doin this will get me to surprised my man knockin on his front door sending myself as a xmas or valentines gift!hahahaha yes laugh out loud at me now...hahahahahaha

i guess we are d same now..waiting for our petition to get to the NVC...we got our approval by mail on nov.2..i am also wonderin whats next...goodthing i know this site where people are all supporting each other...its wonderfull to see diff. people living in diff. sides of d world unite and helpin out everybody get through this kind of LOVE distant long journey.

As if this process is not screwed up enough, the online status is the only thing to depend on....i check it like 1 million times a day...i got my RFE sent it in and got touches 3 days in a row...well its been dead ever since and to see that i might be approved and not even know it...NOT FAIR AT ALL!!!!!!!!!

yeah...they definitely needs some fixin! its hard for people specialy for those who havent heard about this petitons, k visas etc. we probably rely on this online status checking thingy...almost everyday...only to find out that it hasnt been updating well and always wrong for giving us the updates!..although we got our approval this doesnt mean we are soon to be with eachother...thats the sad part but it will be more easier or lighter on us if we know we are checking the right and reliable site..

it is always the best to say whats real...

If Love is real there's nothing to worry about your love story and all....its goin to be very obvious if one will just make up a story about something not even happened. specialy when its about "love" cuz love should come out naturally along with feelings..sometimes because of its overwhelming emotions we tend to speak our heart out the next thing u know ur tears are fallin while telling ur love story..if it happens dont be ashamed just be yourself and i guess try to just control it a lil and answer just the questions...not adding up or telling thewhole story...GOLDEN RULE: BE REAL and Be YOURSELF let GOD takes it to where it should be. my honey woke me up...early in the morning..cuz we usually left our webcam on even sleeping so we can automatically see eachother everytime we are both online..i was still sleepy but respond to his rushing buzzess!haha then he told me to look at his hands, what was he holding..i said "UNITED STATES of AMERICA"?.. then he said "you have been approved..US Fuckin A Baby"..hahahaha

but im confused, because i am always checkin our case status online and till now it still said to be pending?? anybody knows or have the same issue??
