  1. Hi All,

To make the story short. Ive been to US once 2 years ago with Fiance visa. I only stayed there for 2 months because we did not get married for some personal reasons. Ive acquired a SSN that time but i never used it. Then last year we tried to apply again but while we were waiting for our papers to be approved things werent working out between us already. Our papers needed some more information and asking for clarification but since we were not ok anymore we did not pursue it so in short we just let them denied our application.

Fastforward to this present day: I applied for US tourist visa i got approved. But i have worries about the possible things that might happened to me at the Immigration is US. My point of entry will be in SF. I have a (girl) friend there who lives in San bruno. I will stay in her condo for a night then catch a flight going to FL the next day then stay with my aunt for 2 weeks while waiting for my friend to arrived in Lasvegas then i will meet them for a tour. Here are my QUestions:

    1. I know they still have the record of my previous entry which is with fiance visa. what are the possible questions that you guys think the IO will ask me? and also advise/tips on best way to answer this?

    2. About my SSN is it going to be a problem? or it also cancelled just like my fiance visa?

    3. Pls. share some experiences that you guys know that is the same with my situation.

I hope you can shed some light on this..im excited to tour US for the very first time. because the 1st time i was there i didnt get the chance to see other places other than SF.

    Thank you in Advance

  2. Hi all, i just have some questions and hopefully get some answers and advises that i can use/consider regarding this matter.

    1. Can i sill apply for a US tourist visa while im in k1 visa process?

    2. Does anybody here have done this? how did it went? were u able to get approved for tourist visa?

    3. What are the possible questions they might ask since u are already applying for k1? bcuz i heard the possibility of getting a tourist visa while on k1 is very low, due to the thoughts that they might just use the tourist visa to go to US faster then marry?

pls. answer my questions and give some info. too.. i am planning to apply for a tourist visa so i can travel to US without getting marry...my intention is pure..we are very willing to wait for the k1 approval..we just want to be together nomatter where..married or not.=)

Thanks and good luck to our journey,

    Emz

  3. Its been two months now since we gave them noticed about out application.. but still i dont get any updates on my case status online.. anybody has the same problem?

Application Type: I129F, PETITION FOR FIANCE(E)

Current Status: DOCUMENT OTHER THAN CARD OR TRAVEL DOCUMENT BEING HELD FOR 180 DAYS SINCE RETURNED AS UNDELIVERABLE

On May 11, 2009, the post office returned your document I129F, PETITION FOR FIANCE(E) as undeliverable. We will hold it for 180 days from May 11, 2009 to allow you time to contact us. If you do not contact us at 1-800-375-5283 within 180 days, this document will be destroyed and you will need to file a new application or application for replacement with fee.

Thank you to all who will share their thoughts..i'll appreciate it a lot..im so confused why its not updATING to Pending application status? i believe that after two months i should get my no2. But its been two months since we solved this issue but how come its still the same? is this mean our two months that supposed to be our estimated approval or no2 came to waste? so 9 months for this whole visa process will now be 11 months? dam! :crying:

  4. I just checked our case status online this morning and this is what i saw:

Can someonse explain this or why this happened? or anyboy has the same experience and what are the things that u did to make this right rightaway? sorry im just so concern because time is being wasted.. :(

  5. My fiancee got the NOA1 in the mail yesterday and our receipt no. is already in the system..the status is: Documents or other travel documents sent to the applicant. something like that.. anybody knows what this exactly could mean?

Anyways, goodluck to us April filers..hopefully we get to spend our holidays wit our love ones.=)

    God bless us all.

  6. 1 - as payxibka says - you have one - put it on.

2 - For sure - as long as it it's in the 2 year window of meeting prior to this new petition.

3 - Up to you two if you want to do the lawyer route.

    ___

Now - if I may ask, what happened to your first petition? Was it denied? That would have some bearing on some answers.

Because your signature said the visa was approved???

As for my first visa...we just did not get married when i was there due to some major chages in my fiancees work location. long story..but he is still the one im goin to marry.=)

No I am even more confused?

Your visa is valid now? You have 90 days to get married on it once you arrive in the US.

Hmm - do you mean you came to the US then went back home before getting married on the K-1?

You can take up to 6 months to come here on the K-1 visa.

Yes u are right.. we went back here even before my visa as k1 gets expired. we planned to just marry back here in philippines but we were not able to. we've been living together for 6 months in here it was the make or break of his projects. he gave himself until the end of the year. but then came the said date and hes project is still moving slow..its a big project thats y we agreed to sacrifice and wait some time for us.

  8. Hi all,

rightnow im preparing paper works for our application for k1 visa. its our 2nd time and im thinking when i ws in US i got a Social security #

    - should i put it in the G325a form? and in some advance thoughts... if ever ill be making it again for the interview to the embassy which is of course after 9 months or less i hope..

    - should i also include some previous papers from our 1st application? ie. pictures i used before, money transfer receipts etc. of course i will include more updated ones.

    - Lastly, the first time we went through this my fiancee went to a lawyer and paid a lot it cost him so much, is it better if we will just do it by ourselves this time?

    Thank u so much,

    sad emily.. :(

  10. Hi everyone,

This is my situation. I got a visa under k1 last year Feb. i went to US and supposed to get married there. but things or plans changed for my fiancee business purposes! we did not get married i went back with him here in Phil. we've been here since april together. he went back to states now and we are'nt sure now if he will be able to go back here in Phil. again. He want to get me again another visa. the question thats going on to our mind are:

    1. Are we going to be able to get a new 1?

    2. If we are going to get a k1 visa again is it going to take the same procedures and all? ie. the amount of waiting time etc.?

    3. is there any way we can make it faster? like getting it extended? since we have all the documents and can add more proofs if needed?

Pls. help me with this... we are certain that we really want to be each with each other. and finally get married in US now that he is not coming back here anymore.

    Truly,

    Emily

  11. well whatever the chance it might caused...im ready to face it...for i didnt do anything against it...or intend not to do it... about i-94...i guess if its that so importsnt or im goin to have trouble about it in near future...the US immigration should know the importance of it and its his responsibility to give it for me to signed...well maybe it will be send out to my mail....cuz he said he will send my documents to my fiance's office address.... thanks for the replies...god bless...

  12. Hi Vj forumers,

Its been awhile since the last time i log in...due to my very busy schedule lately... i am now in SF. i got here feb. 07... an di just wanna share my experience regarding CFO... last time i was here i was asking how important the CFO registration is...and i really do appreciate all the answers that has given... but then i was too busy traveling that i wasnt even think of goin to the counselling and all...till my ticket arrived...i just go and leave the country without it...i thought at first they might asked me or look for it when i reached the immigration....but as what i heard before when somebody also say that it is not even searched for in her passport...it really does...its true that they dont even look for it...all u need to bring is ur passport, visa attached and the brown enveloped with you. in my case i dont know if im just lucky enough....or because im with my fiance with me all the way..and also if they will asked he's the one who will back me up!...any ways, still... this is what happened...i just hope whatever u think or fel like doin... just do it..cuz the last time i answer a question here about the letter of intent i said there that the letter that my fiance wrote me has a notary sign...but i didnt say that we all need to do it...but if u can do it then do it...somebody message me that i shouldnt said about getting it notarized....because it doesnt need to...thanks but you dont need to mesage me in my personal mail here just to let me know then just reply to my answer in the said post..it will be much highly appreciated...thank u and god bless...

    Notebook

and ps... im wondering i didnt even signed any form like I-94? it was just really quick and easy..the guy was so cool and friendly.

  13. we sent d same format on where u will address the letter of intent..but our letter is more like a letter without formal pattern..the important thing is that u should include the key words for this letter like getting married within 90 days etc. then your intention why and when do u plan to marry ur fiancee...then of course the most important is to get it notarized.good luck and god bless you..=)

  14. i just wanna ask if the CFO counseling takes too long or too much time? how many hours does this seminar will take? i will go for it this coming week...i want to bring my fiance with me but the girl told me i can but he will be just outside the room.

  15. hi to all my vj family,

i just wanna ask if its really important to go to CFO or the counseling? if i choose not to go through it is it really goin to be a problem regarding my visa or my upcoming flight to SF? can i just get a sticker for my passport/visa instead?

need some real answers bout this matter i know 4 sure some of us has experiences of not goin through CFO...hope ul share your side of story...

    thanks to all...god bless

  16. Hi to everybody here in VJ,

I just wanna say thank you and sorry for this late update...just got busy from being with my fiance and kids having a nice vacation in bohol. I just wanna share my exprience in my interview at the US Embassy last jan. 04. friday with my fiance.

everything was good except of course for the waiting period that day.

first the prescreener called our number then ask us documents actually all of the documents you have they will asked for it already and its really good to be organized but i must say it all became just a waste..but though its all good...just to have your documents complete. why wasted? because they will still asked you to take it out of its cover eventhough u r using a plastic cover for more flexibility they will still want your documents naked.hahaha they will put it on their own envelope. so o need to worry.

then he asked us to sit and wait again for our number for the finger scanning. after that we waited for an hour or so for our final interview..

our interviewer was an American Girl and she's very nice and easy. She just asked us to raised our right hands and promised to say nothing but the truth. then she asked me few questions and it was all so easy and we were all laughing at the booth. she even advised us to just picked up the visa because we told her that my fiance is goin back to US the end of this month and we are hoping to leave together. then everything was fine. now. we are just waiting for the embassy to call us so we can pick up the visa.

Im wishing you all a successful journey. Dont think of this journey as hard as it looks. Im telling you if you have all the guts all the documents they need. Then there's nothing to be bothered or worry about. Thanks and more power...

  17. yes i know that...but my question is, is there any way we can just re-edit the paper for this question? or can we use a white out? for this mistakes? of course its really confusing specially being new to this papers..and he isnt aware of this forum to ask about this...only me then, also im the one who is givin him answers whenever he has questions but i guess he asked me about it just a lil too late....he's goin to be here tom. 4am...

so the question is can we just make it clean as we changed it? then just backed it up at the interview if ever they will ask why? we goin to be at the interview together...
