  1. @ChaosEnvy@Oscar G Please let me know what you find out on your end. Even though I am on the K1 path we both have the same situation (missed interview on 7/26/2021, but I have been trying to reschedule this since early July) and whenever I call the Visa appointment line they just tell me to send a public inquiry to which may appear to go into the black abyss. Calling the embassy also gets me nowhere. I'll make sure to update you on my findings, but it sounds like we may not hear anything for a long time.
  2. Hello friends, Do you guys know what we have to do if we missed our interview at the embassy in Mexico City? Apparently our case must be unique because the US Dept of State Visa Appointment Service said they can't reschedule us and we have to contact the embassy directly as our case was scheduled directly by them embassy. However it's nearly impossible to find the proper number to call to get this done so I'm guessing we just wait for a letter letting us know we missed our interview and just go from there. We're bummed about this because my fiance's passport expired and due to it being expired she couldn't complete her DS160 nor schedule her medical exam and biometrics.
  3. Hello, first time poster here and I noticed this question relates to my case too. My fiance got her K1 Consular Interview date directly from the embassy in Mexico City. It's bizarre that they give you less than two weeks to prepare for this (received letter on 7/13 and interview is for 7/26). My fiance's passport expired so we can't schedule the medical exam therefore we need to reschedule her visa interview. Is there a special contact # at the embassy in CDMX that we can maybe call for this? I tried to call the embassy at 844-528-6611, but they said it was for citizen services only and not for Visa interviews. I also called the US Dept of State Visa Appointment Service and they couldn't reschedule it because it was scheduled directly by the embassy and they referred me to make a public inquiry here: mx.usembassy.gov/public-inquiry-form-immigrant-visas-residents/ Another question, should we still just go to the interview even though the checklist asks for a valid passport as well as a medical exam or just wait for the interview date to pass and see if they send us a letter to reschedule. Thank you everyone!
