  1. Yes, I had it in my purse walking in and no one said anything. I think I brought it last time too. Maybe it varies depending on your FO? In my case, it helped me though! But yes, risky if you've got something to hide. Are they allowed to ask to go through your phone? That seems like an overstep
  2. Yes that's it!, thank you I hope you get some movement on your case soon, and best of luck moving forward!🤗
  3. hi again!! i passed the n400 interview this morning, and now i just have to wait for the oath ceremony to be scheduled. the interview took maybe 30 minutes, but i feel like he asked me A LOT. my aos interview was way quicker. here are the civics questions i was asked: who wrote the declaration of independence? who is the governor of your state? we elect a president for how many years? what stops one branch of government from becoming too powerful? name one of the two longest rivers in the us. in what month do we vote for president? super easy! he didn't really want to look at any of the evidence that i brought, other than some pictures from when my husband and i visited my home country over the holidays. i had printed two, and he asked if i had more so i showed him some photos from my phone. i had printed other pictures from the past year or so, and he looked at those too. aside from that, he was just typing a lot and clicking through whatever he was looking at on his monitor. it got me kinda nervous but at the end he said i was approved, and i was officially done with uscis but that i had to wait for the oath ceremony and there's no time line on how quick that'll get scheduled. hopefully i get in soon! good luck to everyone else waiting!! 🥰
  4. I forgot to post but on December 30, about 2 weeks after my I-751 was approved, my N-400 interview was scheduled. It's set for tomorrow and I'm kinda nervous because I'm not sure what to expect. My interview will be at the San Fernando/Chatsworth office and since I applied as a spouse of a US citizen, my husband will be coming with.. but what do I have to bring? The list on the notice is really short and I'm wondering what exactly they need to look at. I came to the US on a student visa in 2015 and got my GC in 2021. Do they need to see my expired visa? Forms from school? Or should I focus on more recent documents? If anyone has any advice, I'd appreciate it! I can't find much online. Also, I heard they're not doing same day oaths anymore so that bummed me out Has anyone gotten a same day oath in Chats recently?
  5. hi everyone!! no interview scheduled (yet) but my ROC was approved today so at least i’ll have my new gc while i wait 😂
  6. Oh that's so funny, I too submitted on 8/21, biometrics reuse and my last update was on 9/20. My FO is San Fernando Valley, but I'm under the 3 year rule (had my GC since 12/2021).
  7. Congratulations!! I'm so jealous you have no idea lol.
  8. I just filed my N-400! I filed ROC in 2023 but it’s still processing so I decided it’s better to apply (although I would’ve wanted to get my 10 year GC as a keepsake🥺) 8/20/25 - filed online (at 9pm PDT so it’s dated 8/21) 8/21/25 - receipt notice and biometric reuse uploaded immediately ..and now we wait. I hope this is a speedy process because I have a trip to my home country at the end of the year and I hope that won’t interfere with an interview or anything else.
