hi again!! i passed the n400 interview this morning, and now i just have to wait for the oath ceremony to be scheduled. the interview took maybe 30 minutes, but i feel like he asked me A LOT. my aos interview was way quicker.
here are the civics questions i was asked:
who wrote the declaration of independence?
who is the governor of your state?
we elect a president for how many years?
what stops one branch of government from becoming too powerful?
name one of the two longest rivers in the us.
in what month do we vote for president?
super easy! he didn't really want to look at any of the evidence that i brought, other than some pictures from when my husband and i visited my home country over the holidays. i had printed two, and he asked if i had more so i showed him some photos from my phone. i had printed other pictures from the past year or so, and he looked at those too. aside from that, he was just typing a lot and clicking through whatever he was looking at on his monitor. it got me kinda nervous but at the end he said i was approved, and i was officially done with uscis but that i had to wait for the oath ceremony and there's no time line on how quick that'll get scheduled. hopefully i get in soon!
good luck to everyone else waiting!! 🥰
