  1. I did travel to Saint Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands which is a United States Territory, travel to the U.S. Virgin Islands does not require a passport for U.S. citizens arriving from Puerto Rico or the U.S. mainland. So entering was easy but leaving, we have to go through CBP, I was traveling with us citizen and she only have to show her driving license and when I did the same the officer said that I can't do that since I am not a us citizen, So I have to show them my passport, advance parole card and receipt notice that my AOS is pending. I know this is not helpful but I am sharing my exp.
  2. That definitely was rough but I traveled twice before using my advance parole so I was able to keep my cool knowing that I will be let in.
  3. In previous post you asked why they charged me $6 USD right and I looked into this website and they say for land crossing they charge that much. On top of your advice I think applying for New I-94 For Land Border Crossings Only they will still issue an I-94 during the admission process at the port of entry. More details can be found on this website. https://i94.cbp.dhs.gov/I94/#/apply-document
  4. I was going through Albuquerque to chihuahua so that's why I chose that port. Yes you are correct. The agents who was processing was under stress and wanted to process two case before me. I did thank him for squeezing by case in between and he did say that he loves his job so he is fine working under stress. I wonder how much true that is. Great advice, I have their phone number and next time I will call them before to prepare them. The random inspection was very quick like 10 to 15 minutes. Thank you @TBoneTX for providing great advice over the years.
  5. Perfect thank you @balo101 Did you hear anything about your 485 application?
  6. Hello All, By the end of this month I will be eligible to apply for EAD renewal. This EAD I received was from I-130/I-485 and from NBC. My question is what all documents should I send and where should I send like NBC or VSC?
  7. Thanks @balo101 I also did not face any issue and was able to get back fine. Going to mexico via santa teresa port We have to go to the building to process the immigration paperwork. I have to get mexican tourist visa given to me for 6 months and costed $58 usd. I also have to register my vehicle which also costed me $51 USD. Coming back to USA via santa teresa port I was flagged for inspection and have to take my car through xray machine and they also check the engine area and trunk and then I have to go to the building so officer can process my parole. Since it was holiday season, the cbp officer said that they are short staffed and will take 4 to 5 hours to process me and have an option to go to el paso port of entry and I said i will wait. They had two case before me and as per them I think two people did something illegal and got caught and I think they brought some drugs. While processing my parole the officer said " you know that it's officer discretion if they should let you in or not and I suggest not to travel with advance parole. When you get your green card then you don't have to see me and can just cross the border" Then I realized that crossing border via land is more pain then via air. They also charge me $6 and gave me a paper i-94. This whole process took 3.5 hours which is very long.
  8. will it be the same traveling by land? I am planing to go to Mexico via el paso border. Does entering via land via el paso using Advance parole be the same?
  9. In your previous post you said you received prima facie determination end of may 2022. Was it valid for 6 months for them to send another within the same year?
  10. When you get a response from Congressman can you both please share it here?
  11. Very True. At the end of Jan I am going to apply for EAD renewal and have to see how long they take it issue.
  12. Now all you can do it wait for it to cash out and then you can see receipt number
  13. Maybe they have not cashed your check. Can you tell if they have or not?
  14. Did you pay using check or money order? if you paid with check and uscis cashed out the check then you an go on your bank account and see the image of the check and there you can find the receipt number.
  15. You are almost there. I think you should wait 3 more months as before you can see any activity on your case.
  16. For me I usually hear back before 30 days, and so let's wait one more week.
  17. Hello Balo, Have you asked your congressperson to enquire about your case?
  18. Thank you @OldUser. It is valid till 2024. Thank you @balo101 It is a combo card. Thank you for explaining
  19. Hello All, I am traveling to Mexico next week for a week. I am wondering if I will face any problem traveling for the second time on advance parole. Is advance parole can be used multiple time to enter and exit the country? When I first entered I got stamped with 1 year validity. does 1 year validity gets stamped again in the passport next time I enter?
  20. I remember that when I got my medical done it was not the season for flu vaccine so the doctor wrote in I-693 not season for flu vaccine. I think if you get your I-693 then doctor will require to have flu vaccine.
