  1. It is not an issue unless maybe same sex couple, but even then extremely unlikely an issue.
  2. About 6 months at current rates if application is to be filed today. Right not applications filed 8-9 months ago are getting approved.
  3. IF they took your funds, you should get your NOA1. Did you also include G-1145 with mobile (not VoIP) phone number for text messages?
  4. This comes with asterisk. 6 months is calculated based on the size of their current backlog and current processing speed. Processing speed can unfortunately vary widely, currently it is about 5000 I-129F cases per months. IF USCIS keeps up that speed, backlog will continue to shrink and filers who just now submitted their I-129F approvals might see their action on their case in as little as 6 months. But there are no guarantees when it comes to USCIS and political changes coming next year.
  5. Correct, no I-864 is needed for K-1 at consulate stage. For I-134 I would suggestion petitioner goes to IRS.gov and gets free "Tax Return" transcript for most recent tax year (2022 as of right now)
  6. You are not asked to submit I-134. Generally Consulate expects to see it during interview. Beneficiary doesn't submit it, but bring it with them to the interview as proof they are not likely to become "public charge" What exactly is an issue with your USC fiance providing you with one?
  7. Unfortunately that is information hard to find, your best bet probably would be checking with others who went via that consulate and used co-sponsors.
  8. That is not entirely true. While USCIS supplied processing time actual decreased to 16 months from 16.5, actual processing is more like 12-13 months. Now regardless, congressman can put in requests that might make USCIS see if there is something specific that made your case stuck. Remember, you have 2 senators and one congressman that all of them will have form on their websites specifically for "help with federal agency" They can't force USCIS to make a decision, but they can for sure at least put in requests. Good luck, and hope you hear something sooner rather than later!
  9. Have you considered contacting your congressperson to put in inquiry on your behalf?
  10. Tax return should be sufficient, can download pdf of those and beneficiary will print. PDF of I-134. Scan one page of I-134 with signature of the sponsor to be printed by beneficiary. Check if UK Embassy allows co-sponsors.
  11. I don't believe substitute I-864 form has to be from a relative. Anyone who can show sufficient income should be able to sponsor you.
  12. Check CEAC site with your NVC case number and wait for that to show Ready. Prepare I-134 if you are a petitioner with supporting evidence, tax transcripts etc and provide it to your beneficiary. Congrats and good luck!
