  1. Hello,
we are in the CR1 process and we just submitted all the documents to NVC. They replied to us with this message saying that our documentation is incomplete
    DS-260 Review note
Hello,NVC cannot review your submitted documents until we have received all of the required documents DS-260, Civil Documents and Financial Documents. Once these documents have been submitted, we will review your case. Please follow your CEAC Home page and https://nvc.state.gov.
We have double checked and we have uploaded and completed and played all the documents, we cannot find anything missing.
Did this ever happen to anyone? what is the best thing to do besides replying that we uploaded all the documents?

  2. Hello everyone, I didn't check in online like I was advised but in any case my ESTA was cancelled before I was at the airport. We called CBP and they told us not to worry and that it was the airline responsibility to check my documents to see that I was an exception (marriage certificate and a copy of my husband's US passport). The airline contacted the CBP and send them information of my documents and CBP  then reinstated my ESTA!  Apart from the initial scare, it all went smooth and easy! ☺️

  3. Hello everyone, I have some questions:

my husband and I applied in august for the I130/CR1 spousal visa and next friday I am travelling to the US from the Netherlands to visit him and go to a family marriage.

    1) I have already an approved esta that expires 2 weeks after my return from the US. I applied before we were married. will it be a problem that is expiring soon or is it ok?If in the meantime we got married and  applied for the spouse visa, is the current esta still valid or should apply for a new one?

2)Because of the travel ban I am bringing with me a copy of my husband birth certificate /passport to show that he is a US citizen and also our marriage certificate. Is this sufficient or what other documents do I need to bring with me?

    3) I have a return ticket after 2 weeks but in addition I asked my employer for a letter stating that I am an employee at the company in the Netherlands and that I have a permanent contract, because I thought it is good to prove that I will return to the Netherlands.

what else should be stated in the letter? what other proof can you advise me to bring to prove that I will not stay?

    thank you in advance

    Hello!

we just started our own timeline on visajourney and after receiving NOA1 we got the processing estimates, but we don't understand , is this the estimate of starting to process our filing or the estimate of the the date when the beneficiary will get the visa?

    Processing
    Estimates/Stats :
Based on timeline data, your I130 may be adjudicated between June 13, 2022 and June 23, 2022*.

    Thank you!

  6. Hi!

I am applying for a CR1 visa for my wife. We both lived in the Netherlands until recently when I moved back the the USA. I saw that the USCIS really likes to see passport stamps as proof of meeting in person. However, I don't have any passport stamps because I have both a US and an Italian passport, and I use my Italian passport when entering Europe. I was wondering if it might be a good idea to include a short statement explaining why I don't have any passport stamps, or if I shouldn't worry since I have proof of residence in the Netherlands such as a housing contract and business letters. Thanks!

  7. Thank you for getting back to us! Now we understand that the USC has to leave too soon for the DCF to work. We are going to file the K1 visa, and we heard that Amsterdam is currently processing visas and booking some interviews. That makes us feel better because it seems like k1 processing has really slowed down.

Does anybody have recent experience with k1 in amst?

  8. We are stuck and need advice: American and Italian, both living in the Netherlands. Got a job offer in the US and has to relocate in 3 weeks. Considering the current situation (covid travel ban and delays in processing visas), is it better to get married in the Netherlands and apply for Spouse Visa with exceptional circumstances DCF or file the K-1 Fiance Visa? We cannot understand if k1 visas are being processed, but at the same time we worry that the DCF won't be accepted because of such a sudden wedding.
