  1. Hi all, For K1, you receive a letter from the embassy which I have with the instructions to send it back with papers of the DS160 confirmation page and passport copy. The letter then states they will issue you an appointment date, correct? It's confusing me because the embassy has an online registration platform and the website constantly directs me to that. Such as here https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/Supplements/Supplements_by_Post/AMS-Amsterdam.html#Med_exam_instructions. So please help and what should I do?
  2. Hello everyone, I have a question. I received the initial letter from the Embassy telling me to get the documents and fill out the DS-160. Afterwards I received the email that the Embassy requested me to get a VOG (criminal background check/ police certificate in NL) with a special code so I used that. The VOG has a processing time of 1-4 weeks. Considering potential back log at the embassy; should I send my letter back requesting them to make my interview appointment? And should I get the VOG translated after I receive it, I know it contains an English description but does the Embassy consider that enough? Thank you for your help.
  3. Hi, If I understand correctly from your immigration timeline, you got approved and received the K1 visa january 2020? I can't imagine the struggle it must've been not being able to go while having the visa. I'm so happy to read you now have a follow-up interview planned. I hope all goes well. I was wondering is the expiration time of the K1 visa? Is it 6 months? Thank you. All the best
