how can I determine if my child is USC? he was born overseas at the time when i was lpr

I am planning to file I-130 for my wife and my child. Should I file one application or two separate applications. I am US Citizen. My child was born overseas at the time when i was permanent resident. Please, advice.

You should contact the CIS Ombudsman if you have an ongoing or immediate issue with USCIS.

I am sure that my file was in CSC because i spoke with officer by phone and he said that if you originaly filed to TSC than your file went to CSC.

I assume that files sent after 12/03 will be adjudicated by service center indicated in announcment. Those who sent before 12/03 to TCS will still be processed by CSC.

Does it means that if i sent i-130 to TSC on September than my application went to CSC and than to Chicago Lockbox and recieve NOA from vermont service center? I live in NC.

Anyone IR-1 besides me?

I'm not IR-1. I dont know if thats any faster or not, but its a much better visa. Good luck!

Still no cashed check from CSC. Augh! I was hoping I would get lucky. I guess I better start praying in full force again.

It is very dangerouse to follow your advice. If he/she is married she/he MUST state it. otherwise they will be in bad situation.

They have two opptions: Married filing separatly or Married filing jointly.

If a peson is married but he/she claim himself/herself as a single it will create a lot of problem after ...

It looks like that CSC has acceleration in I-130 process. I am little bit confused. In case if I sent to TSC should I expect NOA1 from CSC. Pease help me understand this process... Thanks.

your husband need to file separate I-130 for your child. File I-130 and as soon as your husband get NOA1 call NVC to explain the situation and put on hold your NVC case untill I-130 will be aproved.

hello folks.. i am new here so forgive my newbishness lol... anyway here is my situation... wondering on advice... from what i read can be bad/good.. any way i married in el sal on june 30 my wife entered the us on a b1/b2 tourist visa for about a week. She ha valid job and residence there in el sal to allow this.. now she entered again a month later on a valid i-94 she brought all the nessacary paperwork with her for us to file a ir-130.. I started reading up on forums and such on what it would do to apply for residence pardon the spelling any way she is here wit me and i am filing but she did not intend to come with the obligation to stay it just sorta happened here i-94 is good till febuary so my first question is will this cause her problems? in obtaining a visa for a spouse? if she leaves the us now she will have a job ect.. but not be allowed in again until she has been removed from the list from what i have read could be 5-10 years is this the case? if that is the case i would rather she just stay what can i do now since i was not aware of this until i start to do research into this ?

I've filled my I-130 for my 2.5 year child on 09/07/2007 and it has been delivered to TCS on 09/09/2007. Did not get anything yet from USCIS.

Any Filers who sent I-130 in September?

I sent my I-129 F September 11th, 2007 but my check has yet to be cashed.

According to VCS Processing Time you should get NOA1 soon.
