To the other Nashville FO people that were on this thread -- my interview has been scheduled for mid-May. I hope your cases are moving along.

I am a healthcare worker so I applied under humanitarian/emergency reasons.

On September 13th I contacted my local congressperson using an online form. On September 14th I used Emma to put in an expedite request because I figured I might as well get the ball rolling somehow. Around September 20th I heard back from my congressperson's office and was told they couldn't really do anything (but then I got another email around one week later from the congressperson's office asking me to fill out a USCIS privacy form, so I kind of got mixed messages). Then on October 13th I contacted one of my state's senators and the next day I got an email from them asking me to fill out a USCIS privacy statement. I sent the senator's office the privacy statement and proof of my licensure just in case it was relevant.

This morning I was notified that my expedite request was approved. One hour later my status changed to "new card is being produced". USCIS never contacted me for additional info.

It's slightly convoluted but I'm fairly certain it was the inquiry from my Senator's office that pushed my case forward to be reviewed rather than my congressperson's inquiry (which may or may not have even been sent).

Update: My EAD expedite request was approved today at 9:10 AM CST. My status then changed to "new card is being produced" around one hour later.

Big thanks to @beKai for suggesting I put in a request with my Senator.

Thanks for clarifying! It seemed like the Nashville FO was processing biometrics appointments relatively quickly when compared on a national scale, so I was hoping that interviews would be scheduled pretty soon after fingerprinting. However, it seems like things have stalled a little at the FO.

@yoo2 RE: I-130 For what it's worth my status hasn't changed since my PD -- it still shows "case was received" for me.

@beKai Yes, it does seem like the Nashville FO is working on late 202/early 2021 applicants. I also filed an I-765 expedite through my local Congressperson but my request status has stayed at "Expedite Request Received" for three weeks now.

I hope things start picking up at the Nashville FO for us soon!

Hey @yoo2, I'm also at the Nashville FO and waiting for my interview to be scheduled. Can you clarify whether you actually got your interview date scheduled or if you had your online status changed to "Case is Ready to be Scheduled for an Interview" but you haven't actually gotten a date yet.

I could be wrong but I would think an I-864 (Affidavit of Support) would not trigger a I-797 NOA since the I-864 isn't really an application or petition, it's more like supporting evidence.

But to clarify, I only received NOAs for my I-765, I-485, I-130 and I-131. No forms for the I-864.

Updating to say I received the I-797s in the mail.
