  1. My husband had his interview on August 10 and was approved and he just received his passport back in the mail the his visa (wooohoo!). I was pleasantly surprised how fast that was but I noticed the visa says it expires January 2023? Why does it expire so soon? I thought IR visas were good for ten years
  2. i would try to get your appointment in Toronto. Rescheduling your interview could take months of delay. Not having your medical will also cause delay. My husband is in New Brunswick and unfortunately has to fly to Toronto just for the medical because we couldn't get an appointment on time in Montreal for our interview August 10.
  3. can you DM me your list as well? Can you DM your list as well?
  4. do not wait it out. If you are not DQed, you will not get an interview letter. I waited and wasted a month. Once I sent it proof of income that they approved, I was DQed 5 weeks after, and my interview letter came another 4 weeks after that. You won't be put in the back of the line.
  5. Also got our IL letter finally!!! DQ: May 17 IL: June 15 Interview Date: August 10 over the moon that we're finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel! thank you to everyone on this forum!!
  6. would it make sense to book our medical appointment even though we haven't received our IL yet? expecting to receive by the end of this month or early next month. my husband travels for work so scheduling to fly to montreal or toronto for both the interview and the medical is already going to be tricky.
