The following original documents are required for application of passport for your son: -your son country of origin passport with IR2 entry stamp -your son birth certificate -your US certificate of citizenship or naturalisation -your marriage certificate -declaration of your son has not received a SSN if he doesn’t have it yet along with the passport application the US passport office will send you back the original documents package after its completion of your son passport separately. remember to make an appointment at your nearby post office for passport application upfront, normally it doesn’t serve walk-in or you will need to wait for hours. i didn’t file N600 for certificate of citizenship for my daughter since i believe the passport is sufficient

Finally received DQ notification today, took around 3 months after documents accepted by NVC. Now wait for interview appointment notification.

No. We did not and need to file N600 for it. We are now checking the requirement of it. We did apply and receive her US Passport. My daughter finally received her SSN last week with the help from the congressman of our district. Dealing with SS office was a nightmare. BTW, we have paid for the plastic green card which we thought was required for clearance by homeland security for issuance of my daughter’s SSN which was not the case at all😔
