I did. But it wasn't for something serious like a medical reason.

@RedRose and @StaceyAnn, I also sent a request on May 1st to NVC, asking to expedite my interview. They replied on May 13th saying that my request will be review, and they will notify me with the results when complete, but only the US Embassy or Consulate has the ability to approve or deny.

I haven't heard back any decision yet. Do you think  this time frame is severely delayed. They took 2wk for the initial response and now 1 month additional, and still no decision.

Thanks for your response RedRose75. Did you ask for the expediting via email to NVC or did you email the Kingston embassy directly?

Hi all, 

I have been DQ since September 2020. Any ideas when I would expect to get an interview date at the US embassy in Jamaica, for CR-1 visa?

Just wondering if there is anyone with a similar timeline to me, that has an upcoming interview date.
