Met someone at a party last night who filed i485 in May 2020 which is STILL under review. Good news is her husband received EAD and AP by mid Sept 2020. So around the 4 month mark which most people have quoted. Leading me to a question.... does anyone know once you receive your EAD/AP you can get a drivers license/ your own bank account? Or thats only for perm residents aka GC holders?

You EAD allows u to get a SSN  and with that u can get DL and bank acc.

    Hi everyone,

I just received an RFE 😞

    They want:

    - Submit a completed and signed Form I-864, Affidavit of Support, from the petitioning sponsor. All pages must be present and of the latest edition date.
    - Provide the petitioning sponsor's Social Security Number on Form I-864.
    - Provide a complete and correctly calculated household size for the petitioning sponsor on Form I-864.
    - Submit a complete copy of the petitioning sponsor’s Federal income tax return, including all supporting tax documents (W-2s, 1099s, Form 2555, and tax schedules) filed with the return, for the most recent tax year.

They have the completed and signed I-864 (with the current edition date), the SSN and the tax transcripts. The householdsize we added was 2. Is this right? It is only me and my husband (the sponsor). As supporting documents for the I-864 we included in our original packet: Birth certificate, passport page, 2018-2020 tax return transcripts, employment verification letter, most recent three month's pay stubs. Now we are gathering all sorts of tax papers, 1040, W2, 1099.... it's already about 50 pages that I will have to scan and upload... Am I missing something?

    I'm worried now 😞

Hun! I got the exact same letter. And I already sent it all! I looked at my online application and didn't see it uploaded so I am.assuming they lost it. So I am resending it to them.

    hi,

    PD: July 6th 2021

    From Austin TX

I still haven't received any updates for biometrics. Does anyone have experience from Austin?

Also I tried calling USCIS but it doesn't let me go through to a live agent. What options should I choose to get to a live agent?

    Thank you

    Hi,

I am in the same boat as you. PD july 16th and ok biometrics appt. I am in dallas. It seems Texas is a bit on the slow side when it comes to scheduling appointments

If you want to chat with a live agent,  after opening emma and choosing how the how to chat with emma option, just enter live agent. That works a treat and I always get through.

    Good luck !

    Hi All,

I hope that I might be able to find some help from others on this forum.  AOS paperwork was filed and arrived to the Chicago Lockbox on June 20th.  I forgot to add the form for the text message receipts.  To this date I have still not received any NOA1s, had my check cashed, or paperwork returned.  I've seen that July filers are already getting their receipts so I'm really worried that my paperwork was lost.  I already wrote to the lockbox email but they say they have 30 days to respond.  Also, no help from calling USCIS.  Any suggestions or comments?

Hi, I sent mine initially on 5th of May and it got returned in July. So hang tight. After every 2 weeks I asked EMMA and eventually got receipt numbers.
