  1. This is NOT of much help, as 'Emma' redirects you to the case status page. The case status asks us to call the helpline number. The helpline ONLY provides automated response. I am stuck in this loop.
  2. Yes. Always, get a automated response. I am unable to connect to a human, on that number.
  3. On 10/01, the status was 'Re-entry permit has been produced' and later in the day it went to 'At this time USCIS cannot provide you with information for your case. Please contact the USCIS Contact Center at 1-800-375-5283 for additional information.' Does any here have experience of the same? What does this indicate? Calling that number always goes to automated response. The number doesn't connect to a human at USCIS. Do I need to be worried? Please advise.
  4. Why am I getting this status for the past few days? Does any here, know about this status? Please advise. 'At this time USCIS cannot provide you with information for your case. Please contact the USCIS Contact Center at 1-800-375-5283 for additional information.'
  5. She did ask me about my long stay, overseas. I had to explain my personal situation and also did show her my re-entry application receipt notice and intent to maintain the status. Indeed. To be on the safer side, always better to follow the rule book. My advise would be to return back within one year, in absence of an approved re-entry permit.
  6. I applied for re-entry permit on 07/01/21 and left US, coz I got the notification that they will reuse my earlier fingerprints(08/01/21). As there was NO update until april this year, i travelled back to stay within the 'one year' rule. This august they wanted my photos taken again, and once I sent the same, there is progress on my application.
  7. We can NOT say this for sure. In the recent past, they have waived the appointment for biometrics by using the existing prints available with them. One would NOT be sure, as this might depend on how old is your prints with them. I would suggest to wait for the notification of biometrics, and then plan the travel outside of US.
  8. If you have provided the biometrics in the recent past(upto 5 years), they would use the same. They would send a mail around 4 - 6 weeks, since the application. This happened for me, when I applied for RP, last July. I wouldn't know, what's the situation in the recent past, considering the pandemic has subsided to a larger extent. But, the timelines for getting the RP, is almost an year and more. I have been awaiting for my RP, from last July.
  9. Sure. Which is your I-131 processing center? They asked me where I had been and what was the reason for the travel. I said that it was personal visit and the delay was coz of the pandemic related restrictions.
  10. My application for re-entry permit is pending since 07/01/2021 at NSC. It's been 10+ months now. When I see the case processing times, I see ONLY 'refugee travel document' and 'advance parole' timelines. There is NO mention of 're-entry permit' timelines. Any reason for this? Also, looking at the timelines can any here, please help me with approximate time for my re-entry application to be processed?
  11. That's quite a lot of time. Almost 18+ months. Which processing center was this?
  12. I returned back to states a week back. But my re-entry permit application is still pending with NSC. It's been 9+ months now. Any here got their re-entry permit in the recent past? Is there any way we can expedite this process? Please advise.
