      My husband's interview is on 2/9/22. Were you asked about not getting married in 90 days? What kind of documents did you bring to the interview? I would be grateful for any information that you want to share.

      I remember that our situation is the same. You have an approved I-130. Do not worry. The K-1 visa does not apply anymore. When is your interview?

      How long did it take for your I-130 to be approved? I haven't heard anything and its been 7 months. 

       

      My case is ready to be scheduled for an interview. I received an email about this on 9/20/21.

      I did check the box on the I-751. My husband's application was just approved so I will wait a few days before I call the SS office.

      I expedited the EAD twice but I never heard anything. I think my application just came up for an officer to review because a bunch of May filers are getting their EAD cards now. I haven't heard anything about the I-130. 

       

      I'm happy for you as well. Hopefully, the interview is soon and all of this waiting can end. 

       

      How long did it take for your husband to receive his SS number after the EAD card?

    I haven't had any updates since my husband's biometrics were applied on 6/8/2021. He wants to work legally here. Do you think I should try and expedite his request. I'm scared to do anything that will mess up his paperwork. Has your spouse received his I-130 yet? Are there any updates on your end?

      I live in New York City. When my husband did his biometrics, it was in Queens but I think interviews are done in Manhattan.

      USCIS emailed me last night and wrote that my case was ready to be scheduled for an interview. I just wanted to keep you in the loop. I did not expedite anything but my husband and I are thinking about expediting the EAD.

      I did have to refile because I tried to adjust under my husband's K1 visa and USCIS said no.

      I had to refile my husband's AOS under an I-130 but his biometrics were posted to our account on 6/8/2021. Hopefully his EAD comes soon and we see some movement.

      How long after your biometrics were taken did you get the EAD? I read a post of yours that said that said that nothing was progressing after the biometrics.

      Yes, I received all of the NOA1. The biometrics was also applied on 6/8/2021. Did you get your EAD yet? When is your interview?

      Thank you for sharing your experience and advice from your lawyer. I am very nervous because a high profile lawyer from DC told me that my husband would have to go back to his country to have a consulate interview. I do not understand why. Its just a crazy situation. I feel like something is hanging over my head.

      Good Morning,

       

      My case is a little different from yours as I am from NYC where everything was shut down. We got married 3 months after our 90 days. My husband applied for AOS under the K1 visa. His biometrics were taken in January of this year. A few days later, we were issued an RFE asking for a valid petition. After many legal consultations, I withdrew his initial AOS and refiled for AOS with an I-130. I've received the NOA1 for all of the petitions. I am nervous that he will have to leave the country to adjust or for some other reason. Do you have any advice?
