  1. Filed: 06/30/2023 NOA EAD: 07/11/2023 Biometrics Appt: 08/02/2023 EAD approved: 08/02/2023 SSN card with restrictions: 08/03/2023 Received EAD: 08/12/2023 SSN card w/o restrictions: 09/13/2023 I-485 approved: 01/09/2024 No interview! Happy to be moving forward! Best of luck to others.
  2. Yes, he received it on August 12th, a month prior to the second social security card without restrictions!
  3. We filed for AOS for my husband on June 30th for his K1 visa. His EAD was approved on August 2nd and he received the card on August 12th. He received his 1st social security card on August 3rd with the "valid for work only with DHSauthorization." On September 13th, we got a notification there was a change in the status of his case and received a new social security card in the mail without restrictions. It is the exact same card number as the previous one. However, when we check the status of his case there is no change, it still says "case is being actively reviewed by USCIS." We have not received any written notification either. Has this ever happened to anybody?
  4. My fiance and I submitted the information for packet 3 on September 11th. Two days later, September 13th, we received packet 4, stating they were ready to schedule our interview. Our I-129F petition was approved on July 7th, 2022 and states it is valid until November 6th, 2022. Neither of us were prepared for this rapid, but happy, turn of events. He will have to take at least two days off of work to travel for the interview and is currently working on several time sensitive projects at work. The current options are interviews in October and November. October is rapidly approaching and we're still waiting for his police certificate to finish processing that we requested almost two weeks ago, and he still needs to go to get his medical examination. Otherwise, most of the paperwork is completed because I anticipated we would be waiting much longer. With that being said, we're concerned he does not have a lot of time to re-work some things (e.g. re-arrange his work schedule, make travel plans) to make this work. Obviously this is a long time coming so we want to do everything possible but do feel frustrated by the lack of clarification with timing. So here are my questions: 1. Does the interview need to be scheduled by November 6th (e.g. there's dates available on November 1st, 3rd, 8th, and 10th)? 2. Does anyone get an extension of the validity of their petition, if they inquire for one? Greatly will appreciate any input/information!
  5. It finally happened! NOA1: May 18, 2021 NOA2: July 8, 2022 I'm sure there's a long wait ahead but it's something for now.
