I was in a good place in my life. I wasn't looking for a relationship but I also didn't close myself off to being in one. After all, I did all the necessary work to ensure I was healthy and ready for a relationship. Therefore I wanted the same in my partner and wasn't in a rush. I just wanted to get it right this time. I had learned from my past-good and bad.
There was something so glaringly different when I met my husband. His character traits matched mines. The exception is that his was more intense to the point he seemed too good to be true.
I met my husband in a travel forum and found we had so many things in common when discussing our lifestyle and future. He proposed two months after meeting and talking , texting and Face Timing every day. Then 21 months later we are married despite Covid restriction challenges. Life was good but now Life is so much better.
