    In all of my civil documents, my father's name is spelled TarafdAr, while in my immigration petition (filed by my mother), his name is spelled TarafdEr. My father is deceased. Will this name discrepancy affect my F2B family-based immigrant visa? Should I match my father name on birth certificate

    New Update: My parents have notified USCIS of their change in citizenship status. As a result, my category has now changed to F1. I also received a notice to submit documents. My question is: should I contact USCIS and ask to switch the category to F2B, or should I wait a few months to see how the priority date movement goes? Thanks

    I’m a bit confused about changing my category from F2B to F1 since my parents became citizens, chart B is not moving for F2B, If I switch to F1 I can start processing my case( got case number, PDAug17) although chart A is faster for F2B. What you guys think?
