    I recently submitted the I-485 along with credit card authorization for the filing fees. I saw that there was an attempt to charge but Discover blocked for fraud protection it, which I later approved. I saw on the USCIS website that they will not attempt to re-charge the card if this happens. Will they send the packet back to me or what happens? To refile can I just send another copy of the whole packet right away rather than wait for some kind of notice saying it was rejected? (I will be paying with check this time.)

    We waited over 3 weeks until we finally decided to use the chat function that is on the website for embassy. We let them know we did not receive any packet yet and they emailed it to us. I attached what they sent so you can look at it. Its basically just instructions of what to gather. When we finally gathered everything and we were ready to book the interview it was like 3 weeks later so its not too long a wait. K1 Instructions 2022engspan (1).pdf

    My Fiance's K1 visa was finally approved. Do we need to buy her a round trip ticket to go from Costa Rica to the US even though she will obviously be staying to get married?

    When they say each applicant do they mean we both need to complete (Petitioner and beneficiary) or when they say applicant are they just referring to the beneficiary? For the I-134 am I able to sign it then scan it and email it to her signed? Or does it need to be a wet signature? I will not be present the day of the interview. Is there more information about what they mean by job letter? For the bank statements how far should they go back?

    My Fiance and I just received the visa packet from the embassy to schedule our interview. In the list of requirements it states she needs a certificate to prove she's single. She is living in Costa Rica but originally from Venezuela. Would she need the document from her home country or from Costa Rica to prove she is single?

    So looking at travel.state.gov it lists the steps. I click on the link for CEAC and it takes me to a page asking for my case number. I put in the number the nvc sent me then the page reloads and is now asking for an invoice number as well. This is where I am stuck because I cant leave it blank and I'm not sure what else to put in there.

    We received our letter from the NVC that gave us our case number. I believe the next step is fill out the DS 160 but when we go there, the site is also asking for an invoice id number. This number is not listed in the letter. Is that something we still need to wait for or how can we get it?
