LOL! No, I was good, I kept my promise and payments up.

I waited until I could work and received my green card. Then I applied and got denied because I had no credit. I actually wrote a letter to Capital One after they denied me explaining my situation and how I wanted to establish credit. To my surprise about a month later I received a card with a $500 limit. It was like college all over again.

I should also add that they didn't ask for anything extra during the interview even though they sent me a yellow letter requesting 3 years of tax returns. I had everything ready just in case but they didn't ask for anything. When I went into the room, she had me stand to swear I would tell the truth. She then went through the same series of yes or no questions that are on the N-400 Application. She then had me do the reading, writing and civics test. Very simple! Then she told me I passed and that they were going to be doing an Oath Ceremony later at 3:00 p.m. and asked if I would like to be sworn in then and I said yes.

The ceremony was nice, we watched a video with older pictures of immigrants landing at Ellis Island. Then they read off all of the countries we were from and had us stand when our country was read, then we said the oath. After that he showed us a video of Obama welcoming us and then the God Bless The USA video, where things got a tad cheesy, with the flag waving and singing. Still happy to finally be finished with immigration and being able to vote.

My interview was today and the Mount Laurel NJ office performs same day oaths. My interview was at 1:30 - quick and painless and I honestly don't remember the questions they asked. It took about 15 minutes and then I left and came back to do my oath at 3:00. I'm officially a citizen! Citizenship ceremony was nice, a tad cheesy they played some videos and "Proud to be an American" and had us wave our flags and sing. All in all great experience, my Visa Journey has officially come to an end. Good luck to the rest of you waiting for your interviews.

Hi Kerri, it is possible! You really don't have to do much when it comes to informing Canada about your dual citizenship, it will not matter. A lot of us are Canadian and going for citizenship. You can follow the guides on this site for your N-400, it really is the easiest step of the entire process. Good luck!

Wegmans in Cherry Hill was my happy place (there's 1 in Moorestown too), definitely try food shopping there. That's probably the one thing I miss from there.

yep I'm literally a 2 minute drive from the Moorestown one! LOVE IT! You go to the European section and you can get Coffee Crisps and Aero bars! MMMM!

Yeah, I know... My hubbilicious moved here from Philly because the building we are in is quite nice (and a friend and colleague of his mother's has been living here for a few years and sang its praises). We are RIGHT by the Aquarium and yes, when we drive to the Pop Shop in Collingwood I pray for green lights all the way so we dont have to slow down He works over the bridge so we dont spend almost any time here...

Oh yea if you're right down by the waterfront, you really should be fine! That whole strip is really nice. You can always drive over to Cherry Hill to do your groceries and stuff. I love Jersey! Great state!

Yes it all depends on the office, I think you can look up processing times for specific offices where you check your case status too! Lots of luck to you and hope your case speeds up soon!

Hi all! We're just joining this thread, though we submitted January.

My husband has already done his finger prints and gotten the yellow letter. We haven't gotten any other letters.

Today, I checked our online status just in case and it says we've been put "in line" on February 10! Now I'm scared we've missed out on the interview letter too! For those of you who have already gotten an interview, does your on line case status say whether you were actually scheduled for an interview ?

I will call tomorrow to figure this out, but it's all a bit nerve racking, especially since 1) we've received the other letters and 2) we've signed up for electronic alerts.

My status online stated that on March 12th my application was scheduled for an interview and I received my interview letter today.
