  1. Since these men were within the legal bounds of their respective countries when acquiring all these wives....they should be required to stay in those countries and let those govt take care of him and his many wives...since they allowed someone who cant afford more than one wife accumilate a harem. While God does allow more than one wife in the Quran....the first condition is that you can afford it and treat them equally....equal poverty is not what He had in mind I would hope to think.

  2. Its about damn time someone started paying attention to what Muslims have been saying every since 9/11....terrorism has no basis in Islam...or any other religion for that matter. Maybe more people will listen for a change rather than continue the ineffectual and seemingly useless argument to the contrary....all the while there are a bunch of terrorists hunkered down in some dank cave somewhere gleefully counting their hasanats for conquering and dividing the Muslims and the rest of the world...for what purpose...who the hell knows...probably they dont even know.

Considering George Bush has probably used the phrase "war on terror" more than all other humans on earth combined, and cant seem to get through a simple comment without bringing that phrase into it in some tangent way....its interesting that he now wants to move away from it....just when he's about to lame duck his butt out of the white house....hmmmm.

  3. She should encourage her husband to start without her...at some point she joins him...with the option she can leave for awhile if things drag on a bit...he should have plenty of lotion, visual stimulation, and a sturdy right hand(or left :innocent: ) for his alone times....

  4. "What about people born before 600 AD? Wouldn't everyone be a Jew since that religion has been around a lot longer?"

Technically speaking...if you submit yourself to and surrender yourself to God...you are a muslim...the word muslim has come to define the followers of Islam...but really its basic meaning is one who submits themselves to God...and Jews practice submission to God..so.....?

"It does not irk me at all because I do not believe that. ".....you will one day..if not believe...then come to know the truth of that statement. It has never been proven by man that God tells us lies...so why should we assume He is lying about this?

  5. Yes...according to God...we are all born into a state of submission...we are born with the inate intuition to worship the One and Only God...its our enviroments that change us into something other than Muslim....Muslim meaning one who submits to God. You can call yourself a Shia or Sunni...a Catholic or Protestant...or Christian...whatever....but really, if you submit yourself to God....believe in God....worship only God....you are a Muslim...regardless of what you call yourself....I bet that really irks a lot of you nonmuslims...lol.

  6. People tend to forget that you are not a muslim by proxy...just cause your step daddies a muslim your automatically one too...and at 6 years old you are not able to make up your mind about such things...you must be mentally mature enough to make the decision to become a muslim...or anything else....just becaue everyone around you might be muslim doesnt mean you are one too.....a goldfish thrown into a tank of trout....is still a goldfish.

Not that it bothers me in the least whether he is or not...but finding all these petty excuses to start ####### just irritates me....is the man capable of running this country should be the only thing that concerns people when making a choice for president...apparently capability isnt the most important criteria though....and George Bush making the cut twice proves my point....can we possibly do worse than him...me thinks not.

  7. Being away from home for 20 years then USA is my first choice and always first choice...but after that...

    1. Africa (got to see me some Big Cats)

    2. New Zealand (wanna see Gandolf and a few hobbits)

    3. Ireland (home of me ancestors)

    4. Brazil (how could I not want to check out the rainforest)

    5. India (too many things to name that draw my interest)

BTW when I asked my friend where he would like to visit that he's never been before...he said his concience

  8. Of course there is one angle you should consider....sometimes the "other woman" get dumped or something and so to get even she makes herself known to the wife...revenge if you will.

I hope its all a friendly matter and no cause for concern....but dont sleep too many days on it (if you can sleep) cause your mind will damage your relationship even if there is no reason to for it to be damaged. Good Luck

  9. I plan on being rich enough so that I can pay someone to die for me....the rich get everything else dont they...its only a matter of time :D

Failing to manage that I would prefer drowning....a few minutes of panic then just drifting....of course I will stay away from all water sources that dont fit into a cup.... ;)

  10. Everone who has ever BEEN a teenager(show of hands) knows how volitile emotions can be....how the least little remark can send you off into a "everybody hates me" spiral....for this mother(who was once a teenager and is the mother of a teenager) to even come up with the idea to trick a teenage girl into assuming a boy liked her is disgusting.....every single one of us while teenage girls have been crushed by a boy at sometime in our lives....we know the feeling of rejection and some of us never get over the "Im just not good enough" feeling...which leads us to make poor partner choices in the future. This alone should have stopped that mother from deciding this was some kind of good plan....the tragic result should not go unpunished...she knew she was setting this girl up for some sort of "fall" at the end when all was revealed...the fact that the girl killed herself just proves me right. We cant all handle rejection when it comes by chance or through a proper relationship...for us to be "set up" from the start for that rejection is nothing less than criminal. That mother should be have criminal charges brought against her and her daughter should have councelling to teach her that bullying and lying to people to get some information is not how we treat each other. Sounds like military tactics to me.

  11. Why do we seem so much more shocked when a girl from what ever background behaves or believes in such a barbaric way? Are such heinous thoughts only capable of being played out in the minds of men? It seems when a man thinks such thoughts he is an animal....when a female thinks it she is an enigma or bizarre or just something we cant figure out or recognize. God says we are all created equal right....this mean we can harbour thoughts of murder and mayhem equally well I would guess.

My opinion....they should check out who she's been hanging out with as you are the company you keep....she sure didnt get that way all by her lonesome. Also her beheading poem sounds like someone who knows what they are talking about if you know what I mean  .

i would also like to ask why do nonmuslims always assume that making a muslim eat, touch, be covered in etc pig/pig blood/pig ###### is the ultimate in demeaning and insulting behavoir against the muslim...ever heard the adage...###### wipes off? We are forbidden to eat a pig....doesnt mean our skin will react as if acid was poured on it if we touched a pig etc....doesnt mean we are "marked" in anyway by the pig...geez u guys watch too many religous horror movies I guess. Just a thought.

  12. "What (or should I say who?) is a kitabi"

Ahl al Kitab or kitabi's are people that have received Gods message in the form of a book. The Quran refers to Jews, Christians, and of course Muslims as receivers of Gods message in a book form....thats one of the reasons why marriage between the 3 is allowed as they all are recipients of the same message and worship and believe in the same God....all though many followers of all three faiths would like to argue the fact.

"There is nothing in sharia that makes it haram for a Muslim woman to marry a kitabi man. That's why I felt free to do so myself, as are a growing number of Muslim women."

No matter how many times you point out that fact to Muslims they just close their ears to the facts and insist on following the ways of "their fathers".... its a sad state of affairs when culture and tradition have replaced the Quran in nearly all matters...and many many muslims dont care or bother to distinguish the difference between the two. :(

  13. I for one dont believe that terrorist only live in the Middle East...some of them live in Washington DC...and Islam is not the only religion used as an excuse to kill the masses...Our very Christian president has mentioned his religion time and again in referring to himself as "doing Gods work"....so Islamic terrorists blow people up thinking Jehenah is waiting for them and President Bush sends in the troops to help destroy Iraq and kill a whole lotta innocents believing Jesus dies for him so he gets a fast track to Heaven....I see no difference except that some terrorists wear turbans and sprout beards while others wear suits and sprout two faces...

  14. Considering how most (ALL) men view their ####### as soooooo damn precious...they can be quite careless with it at times

Let this be a lesson to all would be sexual partner braggerts....dont talk about one partner with another partner except either over the phone or preferably with your pants on...and shoes too so you can hightail it outta there when the big knife comes out :P

  15. I used to sit on the "throne" while my mom bathed after a long day at the coal mines(totally black from coal dust) and we talked about her day and mine and its a special memory I have of my mom...her being naked barely registered on my concious...

however, I saw my dad once coming from the shower drying his head(exposing his lower half) and I wanted the earth to open up and swallow me right then....it was shocking!

I dont think my own kids have ever seen me naked(thank God...they dont deserve the potential for blindness) but if it happened I wouldnt freak out about it and I dont think they would either....nudity is natural...covering with clothes just happened when the first cellulite showed up or the first beer gut... we prefer to hide what we consider to be imperfections...we dont want to see it and dont want anyone else to either.

kids seeing parents isnt all that shocking usually as long as its not at a time when they really shouldnt be seeing parents naked(and we know when those times are)

  16. "Robert Frost or Scott Peck?"....no...Coolred38 :hehe:

I realize that moving to another country is a huge decision fraught with unknowns...but basically even the unknowns are known...sometimes though we are faced with a choice in which there truly is no way to know where the other path will lead us....that kind of fork...

  17. Most of us get through our lives one day at a time and pretty much get into a routine that doesnt change much. Now and again the opportunity to take that "road less travelled" comes along but many of us are to afraid of the unknown to go down that path. We stick with what we know even if its rather boring and sedate.

Has anyone here ever been at the "fork in the road"...the one to the left is your "boring and sedate but familiar" life and the one on the right is "unchartered territory that could either be exciting and fun or dangerous and demoralizing"...but we dont really know cause its "unknown". Have you ever chosen the unknown and were you happy or pissed at the choice later down that path? Just wondering.... :)
