  1. My Question:

-Once the NVC sends my husband the: DS3032 and afterwards the DS230

Does he have to fill them out and send them to me in U.S. so I can send them to the NVC or does he send them from his country ( Costa Rica) to the NVC?

OK I answered myself, since the petitioner( me) is going to be addressed as the agent, it is correct for the beneficiary ( my Husband) to send me the documents for DS230 and then I send them to NVC.

  2. A couple of questions:

-Once the NVC sends my husband the: DS3032 and afterwards the DS230

Does he have to fill them out and send them to me in U.S. so I can send them to the NVC or does he send them from his country ( Costa Rica) to the NVC?

Wouldn't it be a waist of time for him to send them to me and have me send them to the NVC?

-Documents to be sent in: Do all of these documents have to notarized also?

Does the police records have to be authenticated also?

Marrriage certificate- Authenticated and translated to English

Birth Certificate-Authenticated and Translated to English

    Police Record- translated to English

    Passport Biographic page

Lotos Shortcuts say to send in Originals and Copies, Is this necessary ? Should I also keep keep originals for the interview?

    Thanks

  5. Documents You Need to Obtain and Submit

    Document requirements

Please obtain the original documents or certified copies from an appropriate authority (the issuing entity) for yourself and each family member who will accompany you to the United States. All documents that pertain to your petition are required, even if they were previously submitted to the BCIS with your petition.

    Police certificates

Police certificates are required for each visa applicant aged 16 years or older. The table below shows how many police certificates are required based on where each applicant lives and has lived previously. Present and former residents of the United States should NOT obtain any police certificates covering their residence in the U.S.

IF the applicant is living in their country of nationality at their current residence for more than 6 months

AND is 16 years old or older

THEN the applicant needs a police certificate from the police authorities of that locality.

IF the applicant lived in a different part of their country of nationality for more than 6 months

AND was 16 years or older at that time

THEN the applicant needs a police certificate from the police authorities of that locality.

IF the applicant lived in a different country for more than 12 months

AND was 16 years or older at that time

THEN the applicant needs a police certificate from the police authorities of that locality.

IF the applicant was arrested for any reason, regardless of how long they lived there

AND was any age at that time

THEN the applicant needs a police certificate from the police authorities of that locality.

    The police certificate must:

Cover the entire period of the applicant’s residence in that area, and

State what the appropriate police authorities records show concerning each applicant, including all arrests, the reason for the arrest(s), and the disposition of each case of which there is a record.

Note : Police certificates from certain countries are unavailable. More specific information is available from NVC or the nearest United States immigrant visa processing post.

This is from NVC section: http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/ty...es_1308.html#pc

I searched even more and all I found was original every document (certified is acceptable but must be from a appropriate authority)

    thank you

  6. Hi Guys

    Clearing my head:

Most of us just got approved and this is where we stand in regard to NVC: ( Our first step)

    We need to have handy-

NVC AUTOMATED VOICE RESPONSE # 603-334-0700

    Receipt # XXX XXXXXXXXXX

I- NVC will assign a case number

A- Once this case number is assigned (find out by calling the Automated Voice Response) you need to get the Invoice Identification Number (IIN) from

    NVC Live Operator.

1-The Case # and IIN # are both needed to be able to login (https://ceac.state.gov/CTRAC/Invoice/signon.aspx) and pay the fees.

** Meanwhile we have start gathering the documents that we have to send **

    Thank you KIMF, nice update.

I guess my file is with you. I got another touch today and I got approval email on August 22 but I was approved in August 21 (CSC officer told me).

I have most of my documents ready except my wife's police certificate for DS-230. Does this IRS transcript has expiration date? I got mine 6 months ago for my citizenship but it covers the last 5 years.

    Thank you

    Hi

I am not sure about the expiration date " Sorry" but I'll try to find out. I am using my Dad as a joint sponsor.

Do the police certificates for the beneficiary ( my husband ) need do be authenticated?

    What does this mean?

  10. You know how some of us got touches but no approvals yet but some people were all approved in one day. I know that once an application is approved by an adjudicating officer it has to then be approved by a manager. So, i think that they adjudicate, give it to the manager and then that manager approves. I do believe that some of us are already approved, just not by a manager yet, so it cannot be put into the system or they are approved but are waiting to do the online system for a batch of us at once.

Geeze, if it seems like i am reach, its' because i am.

Going insane, my brain is really working it.

We are all sooo desperate. But hey, this makes sense.

I have been asking myself : Self, what exactly do they do when they touch our cases?

I tried to organize my petition the Best I could. I even made an index so they could find everything real quick. Maybe they are laughing at my index.

  11. They forgot about me... :(

USCIS may forget you but not VJ ppl ....lolshpat _argira . I hope USCIS gives another flirty touch to you lol :P

    You're a funny guy..

I dont want no damn touches dude, i need an approval already.

    Hey there,

Not that its any consolation, but I have not been touched either. But my expectations are still high. Just keep on thinking approval, approval,approval,... approval.
