  1. Today, the status finally changed from Interviewed cancelled to Case approved: Now I guess it's just a matter of waiting for the oath ceremony date. Phew! What a relief to see the official site change. Do they just upload the time/date online? I hope I don't have to wait for the physical piece of mail since I will likely need to block some time off from work for it I'm sure. Hopefully the wait isn't another 2-6 weeks to get a date for this and I can be done this month itself.
  2. For those following this bizarre situation, I got 2 updates: 1. Website still shows "Interview cancelled" under the N-400 case. No one from Tier 2 has called back yet. 2. Got a letter in the mail re: my I-751 that says "Because we also approved your N-400, you will not receive a new Permanent Resident Card. Instead, once you take the Oath of Allegiance, you will receive a Certificate of Naturalization, which will be proof of your US citizenship." It's a HUGE relief to at least have in writing that my N-400 is approved, even though it was tied to my I-751 case. Now I guess it's just a matter of waiting the 2-6 weeks until things update on the website.
  3. Some positive development to report: My I-751 finally got approved (I had filled it in February of 2021) just now. It was saying that it was waiting to schedule me for an interview until this afternoon. It finally updated this evening. The n-400 (for which I actually went in) still shows "Interview Cancelled". But this is a positive development and I'm hoping it should resolve itself shortly. I'll update the thread when it goes through.
  4. Thanks! I hope so too. I'm sure this a simple error during the input. I gave them a call just now and they said they will have someone from Tier 2 give me a call.
  5. Yup. My wife and I were in the same room the whole time. She's the citizen. I passed the test. Says so on the Naturalization Interview Results form itself.
  6. has this happened to anyone else? I went to the N400 + I751 interview yesterday. The whole interview went well, my wife was with me the whole time, the lady said she is recommending me for approval to her supervisor and should have something scheduled in 2-3 weeks (most likely in January). I got the receipt and everything. Then, I get back home and I see on the portal that it says, "Interview Cancelled"...which is impossible since I was checked in and did the full interview. No idea what's going on. This is super confusing.
  7. How long did you wait between each OPT filing? I sent in my last one in April and just sent in one right now. And was gonna wait 30 days to do it again (in case they don't take action).
  8. I've been going crazy trying to find an answer to this here... I'm filling out my N-400 application online, but given that I'm applying only after 3 years of marriage and living in this country, I'm confused if I should be including 5 years of history on the application? If I don't fill it out, it says, "You are missing information". But from what I can tell from other searching around on this site, people say you need to only submit 3 years of history. Any help here?
  9. Hey guys, What do you think about sending in an e-request for "Outside Normal Processing Time" For us February 2021 filers, the receipt notice was somewhere in Feb 2021 (for me, it was Feb 11th). I was looking at the Service Center Processing times, and they're processing stuff from June 2021. For me, it keeps saying "Ready to be scheduled for interview" as of Dec 29th 2021. Do you folks think this e-request will help? Anyone tried it before?
