  1. It should cause everything to speed up. If you look at the trends at the CSC, they received quite a few petitions in March and April which would explain why it seemed to take forever to get through these. May things started trending down and June/July were down quite a bit. Based on this alone, the process should start picking up again for the June/July/August filers. Adding the TSC manpower in to the mix will speed it up even more. I know our petition was "projected" for the third week of November, but we got a touch on 10/27 and then another on 11/2 with an RFE notice (I expected the RFE so I was ecstatic to receive the notice so soon).

    Hang in there

hello everyone..I also received an email Nov 2 stating that they transferred our 2 I-130 petitions for my 2 children (my USC husband is the petitioner) to TSC...I got the shivers, and this is not exaggerating...Sent the I-130's on Aug 21st. I hope and pray we will all have good news, as we only want to be with our family. As a mom, my heart grieves each day I don't have my children with me.

Knowing though, that there are a lot of us, I am optimistic..VJ is truly a blessing. You just don't know how much weight was lifted on my chest when I saw the comments here.

  2. Good day!

I need guidance, please assist me.

I divorced my Filipino husband and recently married a US citizen.

My US husband wants to petition my children in the Philippines.

    - what forms do we need to accomplish? is it I-130

    - Do I need to get a custody of my children? My ex-husband (my children biological father) abandoned my children for 3 years now and nobody knows his whereabouts. My children is staying with my parents in the Philippines. Can my children travel to US with my parent? What are the documents I need to secure?

    Thank you,

    Confused mom

hi. I am in the same boat as you..ALMOST EXACTLY, in fact. However, I am not annulled in the Phil, but I divorced my ex while I am in the US, and then re-married.

From my research, it is the I-130 to petition the children.. And that it is better for the USC husband to petition our children..

My problem, though, is this, and I hope someone can help me out...My husband is now out of work due to recession, and I am the one now who is in a better position to provide the Affidavit of Support...If he will petition the kids, is it ok if the income is through me ( we have Joint filing of ITR). I know it may sound like a dumb question to others, but it is like life and death to me..Its hard when your kids are not with you..

thanks a lot for future replies...
