  1. When you start the scheduling there is a message for K visas to wait for embassy letter. So, I guess the correct process is to wait for packet 3 before scheduling. But, We didn’t wait and it worked for us.
  2. y, cgifederal. I used this link and yes it took to cgifederal… https://www.ustraveldocs.com/in/en/immigrant-visa#kvisa Sure, will reply to your message
  3. @theanchorman For Mumbai consulate, we have to schedule the interview. you will do that on ustraveldocs after your case is ready at mumbai consulate. while scheduling, you will be able to pick available date. best wishes
  4. This might help… https://www.visajourney.com/timeline/k1list.php?op6=All&op66=All&op7=India&op1=b&op2=&op3=1&op4=1&op5=5%2C6%2C8%2C10%2C11%2C13%2C14%2C15%2C16%2C17%2C18%2C20%2C21%2C22%2C25%2C26%2C27%2C28%2C108%2C110%2C111%2C208%2C210%2C211&cfl=
  5. hi @Pranav469 You will get an email when it leaves NVC. They leave every other week on Tuesday or Wednesday. So, next will be on 8/16, 8/30, 9/13 and then 9/27. You will not know when it got to NVC until you get that case number in that email. There is way to decode that case number to figure out when it got to NVC. Your case number will start with be BMB like mine. Give it 45 to 60 days from your noa2 date. Once it leaves NVC and you get that email, your case will change to ready on the ceac site. That is when the embassy received electronically. Then I used the DHL hack to track my package. it took 6 days to be delivered. After a couple of days after delivery, the ready status again updated to ready, this time it is when your physical package was received at consulate. We are supposed to wait for packet 4 to schedule interview. But, based on others experience and my impatience, I went ahead and scheduled. My fiancée did get a call from the consulate to ask if she scheduled and did medical. We have interview next week Aug 19th. I am leaving tonight to Mumbai to be with my fiancée. Wish us luck
  6. Hi @Pranav469, mine took 33 days noa2 to NVC received. 56 days for noa2 to NVC left. Then 6 days to arrive at Mumbai consulate. Your timeline shows F1? Please update your timeline
  7. Hi @miller_Kay, I had similar experience… my noa2 is June 6, I tried to expedite on July 7 (fiancée child aging out) and they responded next day that they didn’t have my case. I tried again July 19 and this time they had the case and forwarded the request to embassy who denied the request. My case left NVC today.
  8. We got our transfer notice to Mumbai embassy. noa1 May 4, 2021 noa2 June 6, 2022 nvc received July 8, 2022 nvc left August 2, 2022
  9. hi @Amelme, there is good information on the first post of this topic. there is link to the pdf. some information is outdated, but still a very useful read. yes, you need i-134. yes, you can do it now. i am waiting (54 days) for my case to be sent to embassy. while i am waiting, i completed the i-134. yes, there are more fees to be paid. interview fees and medical are 2 i know of. maybe different by country. good luck!
  10. hi @littleminxgirl, it is nice to know how others are dealing with this journey, thanks for sharing could you also please share your your timeline? please update your timeline. wish you best
  11. @pratty i did not provide income or assets for my fiancée (beneficiary) on my i-134.

  13. it’s 48 days for me and i’m still waiting. there is a report under immigration timelines, if you run that and sort by noa2 ( you can also filter by country ) , that will give you an idea. it is about 2 months. our next big day is aug 2. this is just my observation… if your case is “at NVC” before the day shown on NVC processing time, then your case has a very good chance to go to “In Transit” the next shipping week. i think we have a pretty good probability for Aug 2. good luck yes, the waiting is getting harder as we get closer!
  14. hi @Redrobot, this was more for 129fs. now that nvc won’t take phone calls, we only know case number when they send us an email after the send to embassy. because of this, some timelines are being updated with same date for nvc received and nvc left. with all the time we have, while waiting, we try to solve these unnecessary puzzles 🤣
  15. if case number is AMS2021795nn AMS - Amsterdam year 2021 795 - 500 = 295 oct 22 is 295th day of year (julian day) nn is the sequence on that day time at NVC keeps changing, knowing current dates, just helps the anxious k1s for 129f, nvc is a pass thru unlike 130
  16. does the packet have a case #? if it does, put that in ceac site and see what it says.
  17. hi all, i would like to request those that have emails from NVC with case #, please update your timeline with NVC received date. after the first 3 characters, after 4 numbers (2022), take the next 3 numbers subtract 500 and that is the julian date. i didn’t figure that 😂, it is mentioned in the forums. in their processing times, they mention processing Jul 6 as of Jul 18. so, everyone whose cases left NVC must have their case received on or before Jul 6.
  18. from the timeline report, i see 8 “NVC left” on 7/19 that included few early june noa2. there are 2 on 7/15 and one on 7/13. before that are 7/5. so, it does look like this was shipping week. i am 6/6 noa2 and we missed this week. now, we wait and hope for 8/2. this waiting gets shorter but is harder. thank you all for the conversations while we wait.
  19. hi @Bahrainexpat, thank you for the information. can you tell, how you filled Beneficiary's Income and Beneficiary's Assets questions. i read other posts it’s ok to put $0 for fiancée. also part 3, question 15, how to fill Income Contribution to the Beneficiary Annually. these questions don’t make complete sense for fiancée, but i’m afraid to make mistake. thank you
  20. hi @Bahrainexpat, what are the evidence you have included for i-134? i just started drafting mine and curious what others are doing, thanks
  21. thank you @CJPinEcuador. Yes, that might be my option. Lets see if anybody else solved it. In an old post someone said to save it with a different file name and I tried that as well. I hope they did not change for us (K visas) to now do I-864. that is what my initial though was. We are all still doing i-134, right?
  22. It is July! hope to see our NVC emails start coming in. The case status online said ... "On June 6, 2022, we approved your Form I-129F" But, the notice date is 6/5/2022. Just wanted to mention if anyone else observed. I have a question about i-134. I downloaded the latest pdf from USCIS. After I open, make updates and save, it is asking for a password. I did not password protect it, it looks like the form from uscis has some feature. How are you guys dealing with this? In the 1-797 noa2 there is number above the beneficiary that start with A, is that the A number to be used in other forms?
