Yeah it does makes that she thinks that. But what happens in say 5 years when the owner comes back and wants to build a house on that land? Then you will have to either give it over or go to court and spend probably more money fighting it than what you paid for the rights
Exactly! I was just concerned with the elderly couple who has a small sari-sari store that was built on the said land for i think 3 decades now. The person who doesn't own the land but have guts of selling it keeps on nagging them. I spoke to the elderly couple and as per them (non verbatim) way back before they built a small store, they we’re given a permission by the original land owner to “squatt” and to build small store for a living since they are not using the land yet but when time comes that the owner will use the land, they will leave with no buts and ifs. Which the elderly couple agreed to coz they know it is not theirs in the first place. Now the person selling the land has a buyer already for the land “rights” and both the buyer and the seller keeps on nagging, manipulating and even calling the elderly couple liar and wants them to cut the small store space into half. By the way the elderly couple are my favorite vegetable vendors around our area.

The more I think about this the more sketchy it becomes. Why would the person be selling the rights to something when they aren't even the owner?
That’s what I’m thinking too. But as per the person selling the land when I listened to them (non verbatim) she planted trees on it, so she considered it hers. Doesn’t make sense right? Coz its not her land in the first place but have guts to sell it.

Wow! Thank you so much sir/maam! Now I know how to rebutt to the person trying to sell the land even if its not hers.

Hello all! Just want to know your insights.
Is it possible to buy a land that has “rights” only and not a land tittle? Someone is selling land that its not hers and that the land owner doesn't know anything about it. Is it possible for the person selling the land to acquire “rights” even if its not her land in the first place? Pls advsd. Thank you all!
