  1. Update: Received a cancellation of RFE request on Monday after I'd gone and paid $130 to get new labs done, BUT turned out well as we got approved on Tuesday!!
  2. How strange! I just received an update for RFIE..not quite an approval but atleast something, I'm wondering if its the medical everyone has been receiving notices for? Either way I don't see anything in my documents tab online, I guess I'll have to wait for the physical mail?
  3. Congrats! This gives me some hope! My EAD still hasn't been approved, I expedited over a month ago but given up on it, the only good news I've had recently is my case is at the Detroit FO so hoping they'll skip straight to GC soon 🙏
  4. Yep I have a valid offer of employment for pharmacy tech, pharmacy tech license valid until next year. I submitted these along with my UK license which is also still valid, I also submitted confirmation of me passing the conversion exam.
  5. Yes, I'm a licensed pharmacist in the UK and had been practicing for over 7 years before I moved. I've given the initial exams needed to convert my license and also have a valid pharmacy tech license for Illinois as well as valid intern license for Michigan. I've also had a valid offer of employment to work as a pharmacy tech with one of the pharmacy chains since January. Not sure what I'm doing wrong besides the 90 day thing..
  6. Just posting to find out if anyone has had any luck expediting EAD on the basis of being a healthcare worker? I have tried twice and been rejected but both times I had not passed the 90 days mark, looking to try again soon as I now past 100 days, has anyone had any positive experiences with this?
  7. Rejected again this morning after 4 weeks of waiting, I don’t know what I am doing wrong? I am a licensed pharmacist in the UK, I have given my initial exams here to obtain my license, I have a valid offer of employment with the largest pharmacy chain as a Pharmacy Tech, I have not been working since January 2022, we have bills to pay as anyone else - why do I not qualify for an expedite? 98 days since application, 69 days since biometrics, how many more requests?!?!!!!!
  8. Yep, been asking every day , they said its with an officer and awaiting adjudication. Will probably call them today and find out if there is any way of flagging it up, I’m at day 92 since applying and considering I’ve requested an expedite as healthcare professional I fully qualify now as its been more than 90 days.
  9. Sent expedite evidence over 2 weeks ago and still waiting for a response...getting beyond ridiculous at this point
  10. Updated just means new date and signed again, we didn't change any wording
  11. Congrats!! Praying I hear back this week and be done with all this waiting!! 🙏
  12. Congrats! What did you give as your reason for expedite? It's such a lottery right now, getting super frustrated with the process
  13. I also reached out on Emma to ask why my expedite would have been denied if I meet the criteria? Got the following response: 'I see that you made the expedite request. As you may know you met the criteria, however USCIS has the discretion to approve or deny an expedite after review. We cannot make another expedite for at least the next 5 days. At this time your case is still processing with the National Benefits Center. The general processing time is 8.5 months.'
  14. Yeah I’m going to try again and submit a request on Friday..my number is 9184
  15. My expedite response was same as yours, just received it today having sent documents on Friday. Thats with me being a healthcare professional with a valid offer of employment…honestly devastated
  16. I wonder if it is to do with the state where we've filed? What are the chances of others majority California, Arizona even Florida receiving same day approvals yet Michigan has a delay? Possibly low volume of applicants so they push us to the bottom of the pile 😂
  17. Hi, I just received an email to submit evidence for expedite, I am a healthcare professional and have a pending offer of employment which I can provide proof for - is there anything else that you submitted to ensure it would be accepted?
  18. How absurd!! The amount of time they've wasted on all this back and forth they could have just approved it by now the same way most people have been approved same day or next day?!!
  19. Hey Nylar, I've had the same - biometrics done in GR on 12/28 but nothing since, just an update that my case is being actively reviewed. I also requested an expedite on the grounds of being a healthcare professional and pending offer of employment - hoping to hear something soon. Its really unfair seeing as most people are getting approvals next day in other states
  20. Hey just wondering, I received my NOAs in the mail today, and requested the online access as mentioned on this forum, but do I still need to wait for my case to change to biometrics requested? I know it is being waived in some instances so just trying to figure out my next steps
  21. I also just realized I sent the incorrect fees...😭 didn't include the biometrics...this what you get for rushing
  22. Our application was received on 12th Nov (11th was Veterans Day), I just realized I did not submit a G-1145 for text/email updates!! How will I be notified of any updates??
  23. Thanks Wuozopo! So having calmed down a bit from my initial rage - I did receive an email from the embassy yesterday around 4pm (same day surprisingly) which explained how to send in the required documents. I looked up my nearest courier depot which was luckily only 20mins away and I noted they closed at 6pm. I got onto the phone with my fiancé and got him to email over the updated signed intent to marry, took this along with my signed copy and the courier documents as instructed online and left my house at 5:30pm!! Got there with 10mins to closing, I asked the lady at the counter when my documents would go out for delivery and she said it would be that same evening! I received an email at 8pm saying my package was on its way and tracking details, I checked this morning and they had been received by the embassy and I was relieved! To my utter surprise I got an update today at 12pm saying we had been APPROVED! Still in shock at how it all ended up working out and actually impressed by the speed at which the embassy processed our case, I was really worried we'd be delayed a further week or two, again thank you for all the support and reassurance - I know we're not in the clear just yet but after 17 months since we started this process, its definitely a celebration for today!
  24. Hi all, Just had my interview today for K1 and all went well except being issued a pending status for an updated intent to marry. I hadn't taken a new one as the website states it would be required if your petition has expired at the time of interview, our petition expires end of Oct 2022. I assume this just means further delay - has any had similar experience of sending in documents post interview, the officer said I will receive an email in 1-2 days with instructions of how to submit the documents and once the embassy has received they will go ahead and process requiring another 5-7 days. Should I be concerned or worried at this stage or is this just a small bump in the road? Any idea what kind of time frame I could be looking at as I've begun to make moving plans that are fast approaching..
