Yessss I got my IL today!
DQ: 10/07/2020IL: 6/06/2022
Interview Date: 7/27/2022
I feel like all my documents are so dusty and having to remember what to bring seems daunting. Also, this is the dumbest question, but the Montreal Consulate is at this address correct?
1134, rue Sainte-Catherine Ouest, Montreal, QC, Canada, Quebec
I found it surprising they don't include the address in the IL. Ha...Hi dear glad to hear that you got your interview later can you please tell me is it true….?? that you’re documentary qualified date is October 2020 and you got your IL because mine is December 2020 so that I will get an idea that I will get the interview letter very soon please give me a reply because I checked on the consular website page family preferences cases who got documentary qualified in June 2020 are getting IL please give me a reply
thank you

I DQ'd May 22, so I am also literally next in line.
I wrote an email to the Montreal Consulate to see if I could get any more clarity, rather than expecting a response on social media. I haven't heard back yet. In my email I also added the fact that the consulate should maybe consider that many applicants may currently be in the US with their spouse/family, and that it is critical for them to communicate when applicants can expect their interviews as there are some barriers in coming back to Canada to consider.
Prior to Interview applicants must:
- Quarantine for 14-days
- Schedule Medical Exam after 14-day Quarantine (5-10 business days to send results to embassy)
All in all, a months notice is tight for those that will be travelling back from the US.
For me, I came back in the beginning of January in hope that I could do the above and get everything done with some time to spare. Had I known it would be longer, I would of stayed back with my spouse for an extra week or so. So like everyone else, I hope that Interview Letters are sent out next week.
Same here it’s too much getting depressed hard to come back and forth to Canada along with restrictions
