  1. Unfortunately, I'm not sure if the Consulate is still getting the email at that address. I know that address was the correct one to send my documents to 1 year ago, but this time around, I sent it to the new address. Can you track the document? Do email the consulate and let them know that the document was sent to their old address and ask for confirmation on whether or not they've received it. They are slow to respond, but they do respond eventually.
  2. Yes, it is the correct address. However, I ended up waiting for the Consulate to email me and tell me to send in the expired documents, so that I can print pre-paid courier instruction.
  3. Thanks so much for your response! They haven't been processing the EBs for over a year and we're still not a priority, but I think they started processing the ones that've been directly affected by the visa ban that was in effect for the past year.. I'm really hoping that it won't be another 2+ months of wait..
  4. Hello, I'm in EB visa who's been in AP for a very long time due to Covid. I was recently contacted by the Consulate to submit a new police record and medical since they expired. I tried to send these documents last month but waited till I heard from the Consulate. I sent the documents earlier this week since I had them all ready. I'm wondering if anyone had sent in additional documents to the Consulate recently and how soon/late their documents were reviewed after they were sent. I was asked to do the same January 2019 and while waiting for my documents to get reviewed, Covid happened and had to wait more than a year till they asked for the same documents again since they expired again.. Thanks!
  5. Hi,

I just saw your posting about the police certificate and had a question. I had my fingerprinting done at the Vancouver commissionaire 5 weeks ago and I'm still waiting to receive my police record. I was wondering where you did your fingerprinting and how long it took for you to receive your police certificate. Thanks so much for answering!

      Hi there,

I went to a RCMP certified/approved agency downtown Vancouver as the VPD scheduling did not fit with my work schedule. I got my fingerprints done on March 19th and received my record the day I made my post (which I think was 2 days ago)

      I hope this helps!

Thanks for your quick response! I've done my fingerprinting much earlier and still haven't received the certificate so I guess something must have happened to it.. I'll look into it.. Thanks again!

  6. Thank you so much for checking and confirming the address! It's greatly appreciated! Thanks for the responses. I'll also check that website to see if I can get any other info/help. My case is unique in that I've been in AP since July 2019 and I was requested to send in the updated medical and police right before the pandemic and then the presidential proclamation banning employment visas was put in place. The proclamation was lifted last month but it seems that Montreal is still not processing them. Since I haven't been able to return home for over 20 months now, I'm trying to do everything that I can to expedite the process. My husband is the main petitioner and I believe he has our timeline updated. I just created this my login to ask this question without having to use his account, but I'll still update it. Thanks all!
  7. Thanks for your response. Yes, I recognize that as their physical address but their mailing address was different from the physical address even before the Covid.. I see that you recently received your passport via ExpressPost (Congrats!!). Would you mind checking the 'From' address on the envelope if you still have it? I've been in AP for so long I want to make sure that I don't have any misstep to delay the process any further. Thanks again!
  8. Hello, I'm not in this visa category (I'm an EB who's been in AP for a very long time) but wanted to see if I can get some help from this forum as this seems to be the most active post. I'm in the process of collecting new medical and police records to send to the Montreal Consulate Office, since the ones on file have expired. I see from their website that their mailing address is different from the address that I sent my documents last time (which was before the Covid). I'm wondering if anyone has sent any documents to the Montreal Consulate Office recently and can confirm that the below mailing address is correct? I want to make sure that my documents get to the correct place, as I'll be sending my passport as well. Mailing address: U.S. Consulate General 955, 1re Avenue #USA Sainte-Catherine, Québec J5C 1C5 I tried asking this question in the Canada community forum but didn't get any response, and sending an email to the consulate office will result in more delay as their response time is really slow these days, so I'd greatly appreciate any insights/help on this. Thanks so much in advance!
