Hi I hope you are doing well! Just wanted to let you know my husband’s interview is finally scheduled per the online status update. We are waiting for the interview notice to come to see when it is scheduled 

It took a year for the I-130 to be approved, we applied in November 2020 and got approved exactly a year later. For the I-485 it has been stuck on ready to be scheduled for an interview since March 2021

It depends did you check Mark the box on the I-751 work authorization form for USCIS to complete a SSN request on your behalf, if so then check with your local SS office if they have an application on hand and is being processed? If you did not mark the box then you will have to make an appointment with the SS office. Call the SS office and see if that is being processed. 
In my husband’s case we did select the box for USCIS to file for SSN but when we called the SS office they told us they do not see an application with my husband’s name, but three weeks later we received the SS card.

Three weeks after the EAD was approved we got the SSN for my husband.

My husband’s I-130 is approved, we are still waiting for I-485 to be scheduled for an interview.

My husband’s case has been stuck on ready to be scheduled for interview since March 😂.

I was scared to expedite too, but we still went ahead and did the expedite and got approved. You should submit an expedite request and for any reason they deny expedite it will not affect your I-485 or I-130, at least that’s what I heard. 
for my husband no word on the I-130, it still says application received since November 2020. I-485 is still pending with status case ready to be scheduled for an interview.

That’s good news hopefully you will get the EAD soon,

Biometrics was on February 11th, expedite request submitted via Emma on April 26th and card was received on May 9th. We submitted the expedite request based on financial hardship, however we were not asked to submit any evidence

I had to expedite my husband’s EAD and it got approved with the travel document, our case right now has been on ready to be scheduled for an interview for 90 days now.

Have you gotten your NOA1 for 1-485?

I am surprised a lawyer told you that, did your lawyer filed your I-130 or you did? On I-130 you choose either counselor processing or adjustment status within the states by selecting your respective filed office.

We did research for a whole month, I filed all the paperwork myself, we hired a lawyer recently only so they can represent us in the interview because of missing the 90 day deadline 

Because you missed the 90 day rule, and applied for AOS status based on K1 visa, you got issued RFE. Your petition I-129f is no longer valid. 
nothing to worry now you have filed I-130 and you have received the NOA for that

same here we couldn’t get married within the 90 days because everything was shut down, we hired a lawyer because we missed the 90 day time frame, the lawyer told us, we missed the timeline initially given to us which is why we have to file a new case based on I-130, K1 visa petition was no longer valid

We applied in December, got biometrics in February and we requested for expedite for work permit, which we got approved without being asked for evidence. Our case is stuck on ready to be scheduled for an interview since March.
