hi all,
so our I-751 was received 10/28/2020. SRC so we felt good. we received the biometrics letter waive and the extension quickly and since then no news at all!!! we are a little scared because people in SRC in january 2021 are being approved and people in other centers for this month are being also approved. we know that there is no specific explanation for why this happens but we have 2 questions:
1. is there any other SRC filers in the same boat as us?
2. on the online account, it says received on 10/28 but it says also that filed on november with a whole different date. is that common?
thank you
We mailed ours oct 6, it was received oct 9, and check was not cashed until oct 23rd but our NOA was oct 22nd. Biometrics were waived mid December, and we heard nothing until April 30th (approval). So I think the date thing not always lining up is common.
we were also worried because there seemed to be others getting approved before us as well, but maybe you are next since we had sent ours at the beginning of October (SRC, they transferred to NBC).
Fingers crossed!!

So VisaJourney sent me the "we haven't heard from you in 6 months email" and I opened it like... WOW has it really been that long already. It has absolutely flown by unlike all the other times I've been waiting for news.
Thought I'd just check in and see how everyone is doing Still nothing since the fingerprints were applied. We're about to move into our first home together so I'll be sending the change of address form soon. Hoping that won't cause any issues with getting that 10yr GC.
Hope you're all doing well! So happy to see a few that have their cards already. SRC seems to be killing it. Wish LIN would hurry up a bit
Best, Emily!
Congratulations on the new home!!
from what I gather, you can fill out a change of address form, AR-11. I think if you have an online account, you can do it through there as well. https://www.uscis.gov/addresschange
the Usps also will do a change of address and forward mail for a while (six months?) for a small charge. Just make sure you don’t get looped into all the other “free” offers.
https://moversguide.usps.com/mgo-m/disclaimerwe also have not heard anything after biometrics waived fingerprints and transferred to national service center (receipt says SRC). I was hoping for a ROC at least, because I think I forgot to put a couple years of paperwork (tax), but we had included pictures of those missing years and combined bills. I had filled out the spreadsheet for our month but it looks pretty dead; September and November looks more active, but maybe the October one was forgotten in this forum (or there’s a new one I don’t know about).

We brought our newborn to our interview; had to change a very stinky diaper and feed during the actual interview. We saw other babies and children as well.
Our questions were just a confirmation of the application that we had already filled out (the section where it asks if you have ever been involved in criminal acts and communist party, etc), fingerprints, took a few of our pictures from the photo albums, confirmed current address, and signatures. I felt like it was pretty rushed and done in 5-10 minutes, but we waited in the waiting room for 3 hours and there were no working snack machines, so make sure you take something! I was very hungry since baby was breastfeeding, and being a new mom of three weeks, I did not prepare well for the three hours of waiting.
good luck!
