  1. His visa was approved, still waiting for the courier to bring it. Once he has it in his hands, he will fly home. Whats the next thing we need to do after he gets here? Just want to make sure I have it all straight, don't want to miss anything & risk him being deported now that we finally get to have a life together lol.

I left out what my understanding of it was - once he's here, thats it until we have to re-apply for his green card 90 days before it expires, is that correct? No more paperwork for almost 2 years?

  2. Good luck to everybody having their interview today. Hope everything goes smoothly and you all get your visa approved.

    Diary of a Visazilla

Thanks for all the best wishes. I just got back from the embassy.. whoever said that this is an anticlimax they were definately wrong. I sat there in the airport lounge inspired by 1975 and watched as everyone but myself ( i was 5001) got called up. I was there from 7.20 or there abouts. Eventually i got called to the final interview at 9.20 am. By which time I had had several small heart attacks everytime a number was called that began with 5000 , 1 crying fit in the toilet and multiple visions of denied, denied, denied. What a drama queen. I told you I'm a visazilla.

Then I saw the carrier of my fate, window 16. Sunny blonde smiling mid forties american lady. "Hey sorry about the wait." "where did you meet, when was the first time you met him, where did he propose ", she glances with a smile at our photos , you can see she likes a bit of romance " whats his mothers name, have you met his parents, does he have children whats the babymothers name, yada yada yada" at this point my mind starts to blank out alittle. however she smiles back at me..... looks at the financial papers. The I134 was filled out properly at the end. Hands of the blue form of shattered dreams. " just send the form to us, ring this courier no and they will come and collect it, when are you gettting married oh it will get to you before then ...." so i asked " are we approved" " oh yes, your approved just send us the documentation and we will get the visa sent out to you".

i did a little dance at the window.

    Care to join me??

    do a little dance........make a little love.......get down tonight.......get down tonight.............

approved pending docs.....gotta love that huh.

  5. Lord I come before you powerful throne today dear Jesus and I just thank you ahead of time for answered prayers and miracles that will happen for those who believe in Jesus name. These signs shall follow those who believe and we are believers in Jesus name. Lord continue to pour out your blessings upon those who are seeking reuniting with their spouses/fiance's in Jesus name and let them look more to you rather than looking to the officials Lord. Lord you are God alone and no man or woman on the face of the earth can stop the blessings that your promise as long as we believe and stand upon them. I am declaring today for miracles to happen for those who are longing again and for those who are at their wits ends. I pray for those to have patience and meanwhile laughter and joy together again while they talk online together. I pray that you will anoint love lives great anointing and spark again the love that is being tested by the world and the officials of the world. I thank you Lord that all petitions are you in your hands. Please, many have been dissapointed so Lord I just praise you ahead of time for the anoiting that is coming, prophetically in Christ's goodness, amen.

    Don't give up people.

    Have a Blessed day!

  6. Hi everyone,

This morning in Ankara He had his interview, and he passed it! They took his passport and they said they will UPS it to the hotel within 5 days. Our flight to the US is this Friday, so if we don't get it by then we will postpone his flight. I wonder if anyone has experience with this. How long does it take for them to send the passport?

    Thanks,

    Sunshine

    Congrats!!!!

  7. Good luck to Stinkerpotsam, Marty J, prima and jay & Helen&Dougie for tomorrow

Here's hoping there will be a big VJ celebration outside the embassy tomorrow

Thank you. I'm so nervous I'm trembling constantly and it aint even til tomorrow. His interview will be 2am my time, so I already know I wont be getting any sleep tonight.

Good luck tomorrow stinkerpotsam, Marty J, & prima & jay.

I have all ya in my prayers

    Helen

  8. Thanks for adding us, we're very nervous about the interview and keep going over everything to make sure its all in order. The past four years of our relationship & marriage is all stuffed into a large black notebook and weighs 12lbs lmao - think we over did it alittle trying to make sure we have everything including proof of ongoing marriage. But that also includes copies of the I-130, I-864, DS-230 I & II, supporting documents for each pack, photos, phone bills, emails, msn conversation logs for the past 4 years, cards & letters sent via snail mail, NOA 1 & 2, copies of each page both of his passports (old & new), and mine, marriage license, copies of both of our birth certs, and so on and so forth.

Kinda feel sorry for him having to lug that thing around lol. This journey has been hell from the start, and its now finally near an end, and instead of relief I'm mortified and nervous and going insane (or even more insane) I just want him home so we can finally start the physical work on our life together rather than just talking and planning.

Good luck to everyone & have a Blessed day!

  10. I don't know if I posted this in the right place, if not, I apologize

My husband has his interview this coming friday  and we are wanting to know if there is anyplace very close to the embassy that has lockers or something along that line where he can safetly depoist his mobile phone while he is having the interview and then get it back afterwards as he is not allowed to bring it in the embassy?

He's not familiar with London, and I am having a bit of a problem finding a place online.

    Thanks in advance

    Helen

  11. My husband's interview date is next Friday (the 24th, *fingers crossed* pray for us please)

We are just making sure we have everything in order, again before he goes to the Embassy. The letter says financial evidence is incomplete, we of course submitted the AOS, and was sent an RFE, I mailed the information to the NVC certified mail, they forwarded our case to the embassy several days before I got the receipt back on the the papers I submitted in response to the RFE. So I am assuming that the papers we got the RFE for from the NVC are the papers needed that have made our financial evidence incomplete? Does anyone know if this is what it is? The letter doesn't give anything specific only says

The following table lists the documents requested by the NVC and whether or not the NVC

received them. Please note that even though the applicant may have provided the NVC with

a copy of a document, the applicant is still required to bring the original document to the

    visa interview.

    OF-169 Form not needed

    DS-230-I Yes/Document complete/reviewed

    DS-230-II Yes/Document complete/reviewed

    PASSPORT Yes/Document complete/reviewed

    BIRTH CERTIFICATE Original Document Received

    ADOPTION Form not needed

    MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE Original Document Received

    MARRIAGE TERMINATION Form not needed

    COURT RECORDS Form not needed

    FINANCIAL EVIDENCE Incomplete

    CUSTODY PAPERS Form not needed

    MILITARY RECORDS Form not needed

GREAT BRITAIN/NORTHERN IRELAND POLICE CERTIFICATE Original Document Received

    IRS WAIVER Form not needed

    PHOTOGRAPH Yes/Document complete/reviewed

PETITIONER MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE Form not needed

PETITIONER BIRTH CERTIFICATE Form not needed

Does anyone know if there is anything specific he needs or is it just the papers I got the RFE on? He has a copy of the I-864 package, as well as the papers I sent in response to the RFE.

I'm just nervous and trying to have faith and want him to get approved without any complications so this nightmare can be over with and we can start our life together.

    Cheers and Blessings to everyone

  12. Just wanted to update:

He got his vaccs yesterday, 6 in total, from his GP, I think all he really needed was mmr & td, but i had him get a few others (hep-a, hep-b, pertussis, flu (i believe he had 2 flu shots), mostly because I work in healthcare and dont want to pass something on to him that I get exposed to from a patient. Anyhow the vaccs were free, he paid 7.99 (pounds) at the pharmacy for the hep-b vacc which he took to the doc for the injection.

Glad he had them done there as the price list for the medical is 35 pounds a piece.

Have to give him credit though, I would have fainted if someone came at me with 6 needles lol. Poor guy had 2 in each arm and 1 in each leg. And is hurting like heck today.

He has his medical April 3rd and the interview is April 24th. *Fingers crossed and praying hard for an approval*

Thanks again to everyone for your replies!

    Helen

  13. congrats and good luck :star:

Thanks everyone, he got his medical arranged today, April 3rd.

    Its so exciting.

I had an RFE on our AOS package and I sent it back in, however in the appointment letter it says they never got those papers we sent in (I guess the NVC forwarded the package without those papers?) even though I sent it certified and it was signed for. Has this happened to anyone else? Does he just take them all to the embassy with him?
