so i just received an email from ustraveldocs, they are telling me they sent the invitation letter nov 22nd ( we never received anything). and we can go to the interview. but how can i go to the interview without the physical letter??

also they say" Your case has been updated, please log back into your account to view the details." im not sure what account they are referring to

you still have a long wait ahead of you...unfortunately we all do. I have been waiting  586 days since the i-129f was submitted. .And now to hear we have to wait another month or 2 is very heartbreaking. good luck everyone

your positive?...what if the letter was issued. but lost in the mail. its been 2 months and no word from Poland.

 I am in need of clarification. On November 22nd, 2021. N.V.C transferred my approved I-129F k1 Documents to Warsaw Poland and the documents were received .. My Fiancé and I scheduled an appointment for the interview online. I am under the impression that I do not have to wait to receive the welcome letter from Poland to go to the interview we scheduled . Is this correct?. We have not to this day received a welcome letter with instructions. .our appointment is on February 2nd and we have yet to receive a welcome letter with instructions. Can we attend the interview without the letter?

She got her Schengen through Greece. Then, she booked a place to stay in Greece, but it was just going to be used to transit. She went to Warsaw for her interview. Spent a few days there beforehand and finally went to her Interview.

So from what she told is that the officer interviewing her was a female. She was nice. She asked for the affidavit of support and my fiancee asked her which one since we used a joint sponsor because I didn't work. She asked for mine. My fiancee says she was only asked a few questions and skimmed through the documents. She was asked where she lives and where she was born twice, possible to confuse her in case she was lying. Then she said " when we receive your medical results, you will be approved"

Backstory: My fiancee went to go get her results from the clinic in Warsaw but they said her results weren't ready. It kinda surprised us because she was close to her interview date. So, eventually she went to her interview without it. They gave her a different date to pick up her medical results after her interview.

Now, while we were waiting I will say that if you check your CEAC it said " Refused" which really scared. I mean the interviewer said we were approved right? we just had to wait for her medical results. So I did some Googling and many people reported the same thing but it was nothing to worry about. I guess they did something to their system which shows this Status while waiting for her visa. Then the next day she checked and it said " Administrative Processing" which were were like" wth?!" But again with the power of Google, we found out this is again something they changed in their system and it didn't mean there was an issue with our visa. It was probably because they were checking the medical results. Then a few hours before my fiancee went to go pick up her visa, she checked CEAC again. This time is said " Issued" finally!

We were so happy!


I honestly can't believe the interview was so easy. We were preparing months in advanced. My fiancee did mention that other ladies were saying about a male officer asking tough questions or denying visas. Something of that sort.

Again, everyone's experience will be different. I'm just sharing ours. Especially since I didn't work and used a joint sponsor. I was very nervous but in the end... we were approved!

I have a question, how long did it take from the medical exam date to receiving the medical exam results?

Better safe than sorry,  it's up to you.  In my case my fiance had a new passport issued. And the English translation of her name was spelled differently than all my paperwork. 

i had a similar issue, you need to call the NVC and tell them about the misspelling. in my case all i had to do was go to there website and submit a form to inquire. 

Public Inquiry Form (state.gov) you also have to send proof that it was a mistake. ie a birth certificate or passport. i hope this helps. but call the nvc to be sure what you need.

uscis approved my petition a month ago. i have an issue now that i need a little guidance on. I realized I spelt my fiancé's last name wrong in the i-129f paperwork, one letter is incorrect 🤦‍♂️. does anyone know how i can correct it at this stage. i believe it is going to the NVC but i haven't received anything besides the NOA2.

just received the NOA2 approval from USCIS. my fiancé is From Russia. I have a question if anyone knows, when will the Russian embassy open for K1 visa processing? they have been closed due to covid since January. Im nervous that it will sit in Moscow after the NVC processes it for months.... any advice is welcomed. thank you
