I765 and I131 (ead and ap) are processed at National Benefits center.

Your 485 is also processed at National Benefits Center and once ready it's sent to your local USCIS center. You can put your zip code  to find out which center will be the eventual recipient of your AOS. Go to the bottom of the page.

    https://www.uscis.gov/about-us/find-a-uscis-office/field-offices

Thank you! Got the center from my zip code. It's going to be a wait hahaha.

  2. Hi everyone,

I am trying to understand what center is processing my case? I wanted to check the processing times. My case no. starts with IOE. I live in Missouri and the address from where the letters come is Lee Summit, MO.

I am not sure if it is Kansas City MO or St Louis MO?

Can I find that info on the I797's? I tried looking but maybe I am unable to pinpoint the info.

    Thank you!!

  3. Hi everyone,

watching everyone proceeding is awesome, hopefully the wait becomes shorter and shorter.

    Just a recap of mine.

    Sent pkg: April 19th

    NOA1's: April 20

Just did biometrics on May 24th and now I485 and I765 says actively being reviewed. I131 still says case received 😕

Quick question though: My biometrics were only for I485 and I765 not for I131. And the I131 status still says "Case Received". Does I131 not need biometrics?

The online access codes could take up to a month in some cases or longer. I’m still waiting on mine, it’s only been 2 days since I got my NOA1’s so I’m gonna wait for maybe 2 weeks, if I haven’t gotten anything by then I think I’ll contact them but I wouldn’t worry just yet. I would just create an account for now like they said in the email and wait to get your access codes so you can add your case.

    Will do thank you!!

It's  hard to say and it varies, sometimes a few days you'll  get notice. Give it a week or so. No one can really give you a definite answer. Follow the threads and you can see how varied the times are.

Ended up getting the NOA1's a week later. However, my case number has been assigned as IOE. I was told I'd have to access online via the USCIS website, but I haven't received the access code letters yet. I am not sure If I need to reach out to USCIS or just wait for them.

  6. Hi everyone,
In a bit of a pickle. Here is my timeline

    -Interview: January 11th, 2022
-Medical: January 18th, 2022 (Couldn't get my medical done before as there was a system error from the embassy's end)
-Embassy acknowledged medical on January 20th, 2022

Since then it has been radio silence from the embassy. In the interview, the officer said once they receive the medical they will let me know how and when to submit my passport.

It was marked refused on the ceac status website from date of interview till January 24th, 2022. Now it says "Ready" again.

Kind of at the end of my wits, has anyone faced something similar or can give advice on how to proceed?

    Thank you very much!

She did it!!  Well they said she was approved!  I did not sleep last night until 2:30am central.  But the adrenaline and grace received to me will be the fuel to drive my day today.  The KEV case # did not read anything when she was in the interview (yes I was checking it like i would the WAC # on the app, except this was on the ceac site) last night, but I just checked and it says nonimmigrant AP :).  And it was created today.  That means the visa should issue in the next couple days.  I will provide her review of the embassy process once we talk.  (It was a true Kyiv winter morning and her mom was there holding her stuff while her and son went into the embassy, so yeah I and they wanted them to be back home ASAP.)

That's awesome. So happy for you guys!!! A big big congratulations.

    Congrats!

Yeah should be the DS-160. Never heard of the DS-156. Usually you find it on the CEAC site to file. Just of my experience, use Firefox, take your time filling it out, please be aware of not taking too long or else the website times out and you can fill it out again. Save your progress on every page, saves you a lot of struggle lol. Overall took me several hours to complete, because the website gave me too much of a struggle.

    Thank you for the pointers!
ill definitely take them into consideration

Well, we found our interview times.  I talk like I am there.  I found interview times for both of them (her and her son) for next week Tuesday.  We were going to do ASAP, but the only times this week are Tuesday and Wednesday.  Both of them have their medical Monday morning so between that and the COVID vaccination, it is better to wait 1 week.  Appointments are scarce in December now (which makes sense because we are approaching the halfway mark of the year) but January is not lacking in appointment days.  The appointment should be scheduled within the next 2 hours today and then it will be me emailing all the paperwork to her, including my reaffirmation with an updated intent to marry.  I am definitely excited about this and I know she is also.  We both are just concentrated on taking this one step at a time but Friday was awesome for her.  We submitted both corrected DS-160s (we had to complete another app for her because I put official for her passport.  It is regular by the way unless the beneficiary or child are diplomatic or government people) with pictures and 1 hour later she went to the banks to withdraw and pay for the MRV.  She provided me the receipt numbers at my lunch break (which was 8 hours later) and I attempted last night (almost 20 hours after she visited the bank) to put in the receipt information.  She told me the bank said the next morning.  I read on the site for 10am the next morning, but I thought it was 10am weekdays only.  I checked this morning, put in the receipt numbers for both of them, and the system accepted them as valid numbers and showed me the available appointments.  So for the appointment thing, just check following morning after the MRV is paid.  Just as with other computer systems, it works 24/7/365 so it does not wait until Monday to open appointments if you pay on a Friday.

That’s awesome!! I’m happy for you guys.
any progress is good and I’m glad we are all close to the finish line.

Basically you want to think of it this way.  And I tried to type this on my phone earlier but that did not pan out so well.
There is no expiry date, but what I am trying to do is prepare everything right now and make edits later.  For courier stuff for bank statements and the I-134, I would have the petitioner email the embassy, or you can, and ask if originals of I-134 and supporting documents are required.  I only suggest this because in Ukraine, I can email my copies to the beneficiary (Anna) and she can print them out as proof.  If this is the case for Oman, that would save you all some headache in coordinating shipping methods and you would only need to plan a time to print out documents.

The date is not an issue.  Unless the petitioner signed/emailed the documents directly before going to sleep, the documents will not show the same date.  The goal for the I-134 and supporting documents is to show that at the present time of the interview, the petitioner can support you as the beneficiary.

The scans I received were 1 week after the petition arrived to the embassy.  You or the petitioner should receive the email within 2 weeks of when the embassy receives it.  If it ships this week, an email with instructions from the embassy should be received by 17.12 or 24.12 (december 17th or 24th) if not earlier.
I am excited for you both!  Especially since it is showing in transit!

I emailed my embassy thrice and they have dodged the question every time for some reason. So, I can’t say for sure if they will be okay with scanned copies. I found a person who went through the process last year and she said the embassy is strict for K1’s. To be on the safe side, I’m gonna have my fiancé mail me the documents. Maybe once they let me know my date of interview.

I’ll def have my fiancé keep an eye out for that email with the scans. Thank you so much. I’m very excited for us all. Slow and steady we are all moving forward.

@Abhik30 It looks like the petition for you is arriving to Muscat on Tuesday 14.12.  You or the petitioner can use that waybill number to track the petition as it moves along.

I have been using your method of DHL to track it. Hahaha. Again thanks. It helps with the anxiety.

So I was wondering the same thing.  I noticed when I received the email (and forwarded it to her) that it only had the I-129F petition.  No supporting (pictures, etc) that I could tell.  Also, they forgot a page (i guess they were not concerned about it) of my past states I lived in.  For me, all that matters is that stamp and writing at the top of page one :).

My NVC email didn’t have our I129F package scans. Is it supposed to?

  12. Hello everyone,

im in a bit of hassle. We got approved on Oct 28, but have still not received our NOA2 physical copy.

my fiancé (sponsor) moved to a new address in May but didn’t submit the change form until early October. They also accidentally submitted the Alien address change form.

Now we are trying to contact USCIS to get an agent and work through the problem but we never get connected.

can someone shed light on how we can solve this as I know the NOA 2 physical copy is a very important document.

    thank you!!!

We are in the same situation right now and yes the only thing we can do is wait. The times depend of your Embassy! what i did was to try to find more timelines similar to mine and see how long it took for them, again every case is different even from the same contry but you can have a better idea. And as @Keithn85 mention you can check again the status of your case Dec. 7th or 8th. Also check the email regularly remeber that the one recieving it will be the beneficiary. I hope we can have good news soon!

I guess that’s the frustrating part. I have searched a lot and only been able to find 1 other case for K1. There is almost no information on my embassy Muscat, Oman. They rarely get K1 cases as per the data from US govt.
Another case I found for K1 was in April, 2021 and that person got their case from NVC to the embassy in a week.

so yeah just very confusing. I hope we get good news soon so we can hopefully be in our couple for Christmas!

Unfortunately, NVC waits for the Embassy to request the case #.  NVC will just say that the embassy has not requested it.  Maybe email the embassy and see what they say about their status?  And check next week on the status of your case # to see if it ships Tuesday/Wednesday as that is the next week for shipping (7th/8th).  Remember, the embassy wants your case # but they just do not have the means to request it yet (maybe a backlog that keeps them from requesting it).  Imagine you are at a desk and you have paperwork that stacks high, you dont want someone putting a box on top of that, right?  The pile might fall and all those papers are lost.  Think of the embassy right now as toppling because they are working through the backlog.  Stay positive though because they want your case # :)

I sent my embassy (Muscat,Oman) my case number but they just said they have a backlog. They didn’t mention the volume or by when I should expect it to move.

i am unable to find any proper info on the embassy backlog too.

Thankful for the case number, so I guess our option is just to wait…

Alright you both are all set.  You should receive an email the morning of the Tuesday/wednesday when the embassy requests your case #.  That is pretty much all you will receive until the embassy starts emailing.  You can check the case # for your embassy on the ceac site every other week but if they said there was a backlog, I would say maybe next shipping week but probably closer to the 13 DEC/14 DEC or sometime in January.  Again, this is not knowing how long the backlog actually is.  I am going to check previous cases that people have posted on here to see if we can get some light shed on your embassy.

The no space between 1 and A worked!! Thank you. I saw there are a few packages.

and thank you you’re being great help. I’ve researched about the backlog for Muscat, Oman quite a lot but haven’t found anything.

If you can arrive to the DHL express home page inside of the country you select, then click track and click track by reference.  In my screenshot, it shows the reference as a blue hyperlink you can click on.  Yours might be different but this is where that link @thekevkev leads to.
This address https://mydhl.express.dhl/us/en/tracking.html#/track-by-reference is another US based address and might work for you, but really the above area is where you need to be in order to access "track by reference"

Okay I got to the screen and put in the “EXP 23 NOV 2021 A” and it said “no results found”

same for when I put in my country as a destination and even when I leave it blank

Also, did you update your email via the form on the NVC inquiry website or by phone when you called?  I am not checking past posts currently so I do not remember if you said you did.  If you did, then you should be all set to get notifications via email.  If not, I would strongly suggest either calling or submitting the form online.  I posted before, but Anna and I are both receiving email updates (at least when it was requested by the embassy) and we both should receive the embassy package email.  So definitely "update" your emails even if you provided emails during the petition.  Update them anyway to make sure NVC is utilizing them.

When my fiancé called them to get the number they asked her both our email addresses and she provided them. So I think they’ve updated it in the system. But I haven’t received any email.
