It could be some minor issues they want to clear up or it could be some bigger issue. As long as you are sure that you don't have any big issues in your immigration or marital history and such, the interview should not be a big deal.

I applied K-1 for him in 2019 and he got rejected during interview regarding is B1/B2 got revoked. But he never over stayed or did something bad. He just went back and forth frequently between china, canada and usa. Because his son was still studying in Canada. I sent an email to USA embassy officer and tried to explain to them about all this. I think they might want to know what is really going on with B1/B2 visa revoke issue. Other than this, I don't see anything special. But I can't image USCIS wants to interview me just because of this

Below is the original updates from USCIS

On May 17th, 2022, we cancelled the request for addtional evidence for your Form I-130, Petition for Alien Relative. Will send you a notice if we need additional evidence. Please follow the instructions in the notice.

You need to lodge request for notice not received, in above link . Are you referring to an I-485 being cancelled?
Get copies of the RFE Notice , the DENIAL Notice and do a FOIA for complete records of your file .
The denial should indicate you can file an I-290 B and if you did not receive RFE that’s a valid reason to ask for reopening.

Also consider if you have ever had problems w mail not delivered, lost or stolen? Have your neighbors had such problems? Has Post Office had reports of such problems?

Also USCIS App never updated anything about "notice of RFE is sent out" something like it

my case is CR1. I never received any email or mail regarding RFE. So far USCIS didn't give any updates on denial yet. I have no idea what's going on

No, nothing yet the only weird thing happened is I tried another outside of processing time e-request. It said I cannot dublicate because there is already one in process now (something like that) I can request in 30 days from the day I applied(which it was already 60 + days old.) But no movement...

I found out from tier 1 from live chat through Emma. But keep in mind they also dont know much. For example I requested call from tier 2 they instead send me email saying they sent my case back to Nebraska. Later on I talked to tier 1 they said it is in Vermont. I said but they sent me email saying my case sent back to Nebraska. Their response was that tier 2 has more detail info but tier 1 doesnt....Instead of asking directly Emma try asking tier 1 or (even better) tier 2..They will give you more solid info. I believe you are almost done with first part, most of the people get approved soon after USCIS actively reviewing. Good luck let us know when you are approved.

what is tier 1 or tier 2? when it was connected to live chat, there is nothing to show tier 1 or 2

    can you explain?

    I already did 4 times.

Did you get any updates on your case? How do you find out when your case was transferred from vermont to Nebraska?

I asked EMMA another 2 times and was told my case was never transferred. But so far I still didn't get any updates since it was actively reviewed end of December.

My case not approved but I think our situation is uniqe. I dont think anybodies case that long. Dont know the reason. They transfered after I sent them that it is outside of processing time already. They viewed a month and sent to Nebraska again it has been 2 or 3 months ago they sent to Nebraska. Nothing yet.

Don't know if your case has some history or not. Anyway i think you can send online request regarding outside of processing time again.

  9. My case was originally with Nebreska which also says on the receipt. After a month I asked USCIS/Emma and I was told it was transferred to Vermont. Then in 4 months, I asked USCIS/Emma again and I was told the case is now in Nebreska. My questions is my case was sent to Vermont for background investigation and then sent back to Nebreska? Does anybody have the experience?

Yes, normal.  We also didn't get notified when our case was transferred to another service center.  Many here found out about their case transfer the same way you did -- by chatting with Emma online or calling the USCIS hotline.

Check this thread to hear from others whose I-130 petitions were also transferred to Vermont SC in 2021 --

The theories you've read about, "complicated cases being sent to Vermont" apply exclusively to K-1 cases where the petitioner has a criminal background.  K-1s with no criminal history are adjudicated in California.  CR/IR-1 cases sent to Vermont are no more or less 'complicated' than those sent elsewhere.

I am aware that the OP is not doing a K-1.  I posted to clarify that only K-1s sent to Vermont are in a class of their own in terms of processing time.

My case was updated on 12/28 and said it is actively reviewed. I am shocked it is so fast in Vermont service center. So I asked EMMA again the other day and chat with USCIS representitive online. And I was told my case is always in Nebreska. I'm very confused as I was told a few months ago that my case was transfered from Nebreska to Vermont. So whose words is right? Does anybody have the same experience?

K-1 cases sent to Vermont (vs California) are 100% complicated by petitioner's criminal background.

My case is CR1, not K1

My K1 was approved in California last year but it got rejected during interview in China Embassy. They just gave reason saying doubt about bona fide relastionship.

That seems to happen more frequently than it used to......but I wouldn't worry about it.  USCIS can transfer the case any time they see a need.  Many of us experienced case transfers with no delay in processing.

I compare the processing time of each service center. Vermont takes almost a year for a US citizen filing for their spouse while it's 3-7.5months in Nebreska center. Some people said case changed to vermont means case is kind of complicated. Because our K1 was rejected during interview in China embassy because of doubt about bona-fide relationship. So we got married and filed I-130. Not sure if it will cause more complicated for the case process?

We filed I-130(CR1) this month and got receipt from USCIS. And we also got a letter to suggest to create an account on the uscis website for chasing after the case or bring up questions easily. When I create an account and logged in. I found there is a file uploaded on the account which is part of the documents and proofs we submitted. However it's only very small part of the proof we sent to USCIS. Does anybody know why it was loaded on it and why is it only small part of it?
