  1. From talking to my officer, it didnt matter what time. She gave me the option of doing it immediately with her in the same room for an additional 3 minutes, or to come back in a few weeks to an official ceremony so my whole family could be part of it. I met a few people on the day outside and everyone I spoke with had the same experience. You could be right but not from my experience.
  2. All this is on my timeline on my profile. I think it was October 2021 but I was in Chicago. So my timeline isnt a good reference if you are living in Denver. I have a friend from Denver and they took 3 months after they applied. ha, I cant think why this question is relevant. Please tell me why this matters? ha
  3. Interview and oath ceremony the same day. Approved. The whole process was easier than expected. Hope this helps.
  4. Interview is this week. Not happened yet. I will keep you posted.
  5. Sorry, I was away camping for a few days. I applied from Chicago in October 2021. Then Moved to Denver June 1st 2022. On june 13th I received a letter with interview date. If I had of applied while living in Denver, I would have gotten my interview date much quicker. Chicago takes about 8-9 months. Hope this helps.
  6. Thank you for the reply. My interview is next week. Hoping for same day Oath too.
  7. There has been very little activity this year (2022) from N-400 applications that interview out of Denver. I know with Covid, they were doing the oath ceremony the same day as interview. Since covid restrictions have lifted, does anyone know if they are still doing same day oath ceremony? Or do you have to come back a couple weeks after interview? Appreciate any input from anyone who interviewed after April 2022. Thanks!
  8. Interesting. I thought you could get a certified photocopy so you didn’t have to send in the original. That’s so risky, I hope it doesn’t get lost via mail. I think it’s $550 😱
  9. I thought there is option so you don’t have to mail in your original? I thought u can get a certificate photocopy. How do you get that?
  10. Hello, If you have recently passed your Naturalization/N-400 interview and have received your Naturalization Certificate, you can apply for a US passport. I dont want to send in my original Certificate, so what is the easiest way to get a certified copy of the certificate? If the only way is through USCIS, what is the easiest way to book an appointment to get this done? Thanks!
  11. Thats awesome! Never heard that rule. So once I lived in the Chicago District 3 months prior to applying for my N-400, then I can interview in that district? Is there a link to that rule? Just so I can have it available on the day of my interview if there is any issues. And great idea about Oath Ceremony. Thanks!
  12. Hi All, I currently live in Chicago and Chicago is my local office. Timeline: Applied for Citizenship via N-400 In October 2021. May 2022 - Received interview date for citizenship in CHICAGO for July 2022. June 2022 - I am relocating to Colorado. 1 month before my interview in Chicago. Question: Since I am moving to Colorado in June, and my interview is in Chicago in July, I have zero problem flying back to Chicago in July for my interview. However, What will be said at my interview when they find out I actually live in Colorado now? Will they tell me that my interview needs to be changed to their Denver office? Can Chicago office approve an interview if the applicant lives in a different state. I wasnt able to change my address from Chicago to Colorado as I am currently still living in Chicago. I move in 2 weeks. So should if I change my address on their system in 2 weeks, will my interview be cancelled as they see i moved out of state. Any advise would be great. Thanks!
