Hello February fillers , your thoughts on having your spouse here before the end of the year? What’s the likelihood ?
I keep looking at the estimated approval date (which means NOA 2 approval, I’m assuming) which fluctuates between the middle towards ending of September to October.
Then I’m thinking things shouldn’t take too long after the NOA 2 which should round near the end of the year.
Your thoughts

Hey, I am one of the Feb filers and I saw your post saying the NOA 1 date is actually the one they show received on and the clock for NOA2 starts from then. Everywhere I look on internet they say the opposite. That it is the notice date and not the received date.
Do you have any lit on it? It would be awesome if it is actually the revived date.

Go to USCIS website under “news”. I believe it is the Jan 8 update regarding the lockbox. They talk about the delay not affecting the reciept date. Basically they realized it would be unfair to wait this long to receive your NOA1-1 when usually you receive it within a week or two the most. Understand that this has never happened to the lockbox before where they were behind 3 months. So anything you read on the internet is out of date for this current situation. Maybe when they catch up it will apply.
It took 8 weeks for them to send me my NOA-1but it was backdated to the date they received my application. There were some who waited up to 12 weeks to receive there NOA-1 especially the November and December filers. The easiest thing to do is to put your WAC into USCIS case number status and see what date they put. That is when your time starts. I know now the lockbox has caught up so they are around 4 weeks behind. Also when many of us November, December and January filers tried to enter our NOA-1 date here in visa journey, the system would not accept the “current” date because it recognized it as a problem. If you are a February filer your NOA-1 should be feb. I’m a January filer and didn’t receive the case number until March. There’s no way my time starts 2 months later because of there delay.
